mostly against: mostly because of the way the models are trained on presumably mostly unpaid/copyrighted work by actual artists. If there was a AI art generator that could guarantee that it was trained solely on public domain art (of which there is plenty) I could maybe get into it. But also aesthetically, I can usually just tell if it's ai, and it usually just looks a bit naff

Fair enough. Unfortunately I doubt there is much public domain only trained AI atm. To hard to guarantee considering they just copy just about everything on the web.
