ok, instructions from the beginning
a) get EUO working, ie connect to reg & make sure it's patched up.
b) know where it is installed!
c) download maped (link in OP)
d) Unzip the maped zip into your EUO directory (from part b), PRESERVING DIRECTORIES, such that maped.exe is in the same folder as euo. It will create a sdat and a smaps dir.
e) double click maped.exe

New maped version 113
* added J (shift j) key to jump from a destination to a teleporter
* added k key to jump back to where you last jumped from
* spawners that are default good have blue names
* spawners that are default neutral have grey names

main thing is the map stats box top left corner. Caveat: you need the spawner scripts to see scripted mobs stats, but normie maps show the stats fine

I added this specifally so I could tune the total spawners xp & hp etc in Apoc newbie dungeon.

updated maped (117)

* when paint a void/darkness type tile, the decorating letter is painted immediately as well
* last selected feature, terrain and spanwer now remembered when switching palettes
* status line now updates when click palette
