Quick question (that is prolly a dumb one, but I'm a noob to pd):

What's the class cap % for non-human races on pd - Is it the same as nonhumans on Reg, or more like NG?

PD and Weekly have the following:

human 125% before remort and 200% after
Non-human 100% before remort and 175% after

Why is exp 3x?
Kinda limits how far you can get in 1 week with a job and family.

I haven't played enough since this was added to understand the new heroic monsters or the "challenging 3x exp".
I was told heroics give 3x and challenging is 3x and weekly is 3x. Does that mean a challenging heroic on weekly gives 27x exp?

Also a Suggestion:
Randomness is fun every week.
Why not random exp factor every week?
1x-10x?
or even higher?

Every week will be a different ball game.

Some weeks players can get to level 50.
Some weeks players could potentially reach 500.

I dunno, it seems really balanced atm. The only things that are kind of irksome is you can't stalk someone in an instance as its private. Oh sure I threw a fit when ladder first came in mainly due to my piss poor pvp playing powers but now I prefer to just pvp on the ladder. Grind mobs on monthly ladders for months at a time to keep on top and you get bored with grinding fast. Makes it feel like a job rather than a game. (yah I know too much free time).

BTW, its x3 normally and x10 for dangerous conditions. I don't know if it drops when mobs get too easy. It sure seems like it.

I have an idea based on the circle of death map I made. Players that are on and lvl 20 or higher on the ladder can type /challenge (playername) and instantly be teleported to a closed arena where they must battle to the death.

Winner will see a red portal that takes them to town. Loser just perma dies. Time to roll up a new one ol' chap.

What about alcohol for Dwarfs, does it drop?

I believe there is a polypile formula on pots but I didn't spend the time to figure it out. I believe it is pretty simple though.

Hmm, to get all the ingrediants for that would be pretty tough, it probably should be made a drop imo, like tomes are for mages.

I actually think its as simple as using wand on existing stack of pots. You'll have to experiment.

If a low lvl character attacks you and you kill them in self defense how bad will the penalty be? The only time I ever PKed somebody was on regular when I defended myself from a lowbie that attacked me. But if you can't engage in PVP until you're lvl 20 then players hopefully won't want to sacrifice a character just to knock a higher lvl player down.

yes, but you can still use the /pvp 1 command at level 10, that being WAY easier than 20 and the formula is.......

The ladder server needs alcohol drops for dwarfs and some way to get the weakest spell from each type of magic, so humans can multi class into say priest/mage. Maybe a monster that always drops one of the tomes or one merchant that sells them all and can be bought from.

Also, maybe my suspicion is unwarranted, but is it really possible to get a both a staff of leeching and an enched sword of XMP by level 30 living off the land??? http://euotopia.com/plyr.php?p=Bwurm&serv=W

Not only is it possible but those are pretty simple items compared to what I've seen. Weekly ladder has weird drops or so I hear.

K, I was just suspicious because it seems too perfect...he picked a half troll mage and ends up with the perfect weapon combo by level 30 living of the land? Maybe he is just really luck I guess.

yeah, i mean, i've found the perfect suit for a mage(two vig +11 peices & 15^ int) however its a shame i was a fighter :3

Got a few questions about weekly Lotl-PD. Is cartography broken because maps cannot work with the random made maps ? Also are fountains not working ? Tried a LOT of them in several places, never got the +stat buff. I do realize most craft skills are difficult, if not near impossible to really use effectively given no way to purchase raw ingredients. Will there be any changes to drop tables to allow monster to drop not just items we use but the basic ingredients that don't seem to drop at the moment ? I am enjoying the challenge of Lotl a lot :D
