just trying an experimental 'mining' temporary map - grab your shovel and mining pick and go and dig out your own dungeon
to start one, just hack away with a mining pick at a mountain that has no ore - keep searching till you find a 'collapsed mine' - there can be a max of 5 open at a time
other than needing a shovel and a mining pick, the instructions are in the mine itself, on a book stand - look at it - then figure the rest out yrself
You will need a mining pick and a shovel.
You can dig out a brown rock wall with a mining pick.
You can upgrade a rock wall to a stone wall with a shovel. Likewise you can upgrade a dirt floor to a tiled floor with a shovel.
Sometimes you get boulders left behind. You can push them around with a shovel and even stack them to make new rock walls!
Plan your dungeon carefully children. Also it is safe for now as there are no balrons or earthquakes or caveins. There also isn't any xp or treasure other than a few gems!
PS the mine is not saved and will destroy itself and disappear after 30 mins if nobody visits it! So don't be precious about it!
- replace existing mining with experimental mining
- actually finding ore - in actual veins that span tiles
- finding gold nugs, gems
- spawning zorms
- finding ancient buried prefab dungeon ruins and digging them out in a archaeology kinda manner
- finding petrified items or monsters (ie statues)
- saving the temporary mine maps if they are particularly good
- allowing more flexibility in turning the map into a dungeon - ie more tiles, better terraforming
- finding streams or lava
- disturbing some balron in his pit
