Ongoing player run PvP tournaments, self serve

Post by eggmceye »

PvP tourneys are now automated
  • To start a tourney, one player with 100k gp should go to the arena and talk to the Admin
  • Tourney registrations go for 2 weeks, and the tourney runs for 2 weeks: 4 weeks total
  • Entry fee is 10k per division, so the lowest division is 10k, next is 20k , next is 30k, max 100k FREE ENTRY, may change in future
  • Your tourney has a choice of having either divisions or be Open
  • If you want divisions they are brackets of 50 levels, from 1-50, 51-100, etc, 401-450, 451-500, 10 divisions total
  • No divisions is ideal for an NG tourney or a cards tourney, where player level doesn't matter
  • Continue to use armoury to register for a division and sub match results
  • Prize will probably be 10ac x the number of participants in a division: so if there are 5 participants in your division the prize is 50ac, to winner only
  • Prizes will be automated eventually, so the pvp tourney system will be fully self serve
  • No prizes for a division if only 1 participant in that division
  • Currently reg only
  • Whoever coughs up the 100k gp to start the tourney gets their name on it and writes the rules: if your rules suck and no one joins, that's your bad luck
  • Not extensively tested so probably doesn't even work
Mackey has the first one
he has written his rules, and if you don't like them, start your own tourney next time around

In interest of fairness. I tried paying off my fees with a toon thats in thr 51-100 bracket a 401-450 bracket and a 450-500 bracket. Everyone one of the said my fees were paid......but that would be impossible seeing as i was trying to pay them LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON
