flaming is material 0x16, (i think, check materials.txt)
eg 0x6012.1 for a flaming long sword
I haven't used it yet because I'm not that enthused by the effect: think it is a bit over the top, and might tone it down
Perhaps have an option to disable the flaming graphics for people with older, antiquated computers? What exactly does the flaming tint do on weapons or armor anyway?

to get +10 you need a +9 to start with
I used it on a balmythic adamantium crook +9. Didn't work for me. I tried on aplha, its because its named. Other +9s improve to +10 no problem.
It will make a named +8 into a +9, but the +9 won’t show +10. If everything I did was right, I noticed a difference in my AS when I made it into a +10, just still showing as +9.
Yeah, I can confirm whats going on here. It will effectively make the weapon a +10, but under the item description it still shows a +9. This goes for non named items too. Just realized it.
Thanks Egg for doing stuff to make it more special. :-)
Also, apologies to Jackal and (somebody) for killing Dopefish prematurely and depriving you of the XP. Egg, is there some way you can take my unclaimed XP and give it to Jackal and (somebody) who got robbed?

Tell him to find me on sometime and I’ll take him to epic Dopefish.
