Anyone who buys the shirt gets 200AC and a void fountain!
41 to go: getting desperate now!

Think of it this way: if you were going to buy 200AC for $20, now you can get that + free shirt and a void fountain at not much extra cost (it's $3 postage co-us :p )

Oh! I've changed my mind. Delivery is only $4 to the UK by the way folks.

EDIT: Oh, no its not. Its actually $10 - it just doesn't tell you that until you get your paypal receipt!

Pretty good deal. I hope they don't just take paypal. Wish I wasn't in MO I'm betting they'll tack on some sort of tax. Shirts come in any color?

I'm #11

Congratulations!
You supported Internet Wizard T-shirt!

Order Details
Order Summary:

1 M Royal American Apparel Crew $19.95
Shipping $3.85
Total: $23.80

Alright, Missouri wasn't being dicks so no tax... unlike my walmart purchase.

Note they offer a few other selections for styles for those interested. There's even a long sleeved version.

I don't why it says "you won't be charged until the campaign is done", but I was charged immediately.
I'm hoping my bank doesn't charge for using paypal with my bank's card
Anyways, like mentioned before, it's not that expensive, shouldn't be $10 postage even to Finland, we shall see. Atleast paypal told me the amount is $25 or something.
Egg is like John Carmack to me and I love that wizard. I'm not sure if the wizard is egg himself or old Henry or both, but I shall draw my own conclusion. Maybe the shirt awakens my inner internet wizard, who knows for sure. Only egg or old Henry.

He's used a lot of avatars over the years. I too noticed the not charged thing but was actually thinking Egg won't be charged for launching the campaign unless all 50 are sold. I don't know.. I didn't read all the fine lines and details of starting campaigns. Getting stuck with the bill of 50 T-shirts for 20+ each would suck.

This is where someone with loads of tax return money and no Xmas gifts to give this xmas could utilize this offer. Think, all your computer geek friends and family will be happy and they won't even know and you won't have to last minute gift.

:alarm:  THANK YOU GUYS  :alarm:

I don't think internet wizard is going to happen but I've got the bug and want to make shirts. I've always wanted to make shirts. The problems this time around were
* price too high
* base price too high: too many colours, expensive american apparel shirt
* goal of 50 too high

I've done simpler designs, such as these:
sl.jpg
df1.jpg
ca1.jpg
* goal 10 shirts
* cost: $10 per shirt, sell for $12.5
* 10 shirts sold nets me $22, enough to buy myself a shirt ^.^

alternatively, sell for 15 and spend $25 on advertising, which by the way, this time around with internet wizard, was a total fail: $40 spent, on facebook and project wonderful, about 10 clicks and no buys

Do a new shirt per week. Do a website/blog (free since I'm a webdev) - sell 10 shirts a week. I dunno, I think it might be doable.

I really like the shadowlord shirt.
Maybe that "pyramid" thing could have a pixelated "all-seing eye" or something.

PS. Do the coins arrive when the shirts have arrived or before? I'm broke and I'm figuring if I should buy another drake mount or wait :?

Facebook gets hit with a lot of ads. Are there retrosites that allow advertising. I posted a link on my FB to your teespring campaign but I just don't know if any of the Christians on there even care or if my relatives are interested (and their friends). This is where it helps that a passionate player has a lot of friends or w/e to spread the word. Its also not so much as failure as timing in todays world. Sometimes it seems retrogames are HOT HOT HOT. And other times it seems they're NOT.

I haven't trolled the myriad of gaming sites to know what people are interested in. Hell what is the hot games on the market?

I think parts of the shadowlord pic needs some of that glossy black to fill in the design.
I can't make heads or tails of the white t-shirt.
The last one is kind of interesting as the pattern oddly stimulated my brain. Its the patterns and subliminal thought that there might be something in that pattern like those 3-d puzzles or something.

I'm still wondering why you don't makes shirts advertising the game. That logo I used that you made always seemed keen. I've been thinking of just going to a tshirt site and paying for one printed up but I'm hardly out enough since I'm just not a mall walker like the Columbia MO zombies around here. Problem IMHO about the banner is it is too rectangular for a center pic on a tshirt. Needs to be more rounded. The lighter colors in the center don't BAM!!!! my brain enough. Then again, I have an odd brain.

What colors draw attention?
What patterns make the mind go !!!
Shock value or message?

What happened to the Cafepress site? It looks like it's kinda up http://www.cafepress.com/euo

I've bought EUO shirts and stickers there before. Are they not a good place to go through for merch?

The shirt price goes up dramatically the more colours you have and the less minimum order you make.
Compare these 2 shadowlords:
sl2.jpg
sl1.jpg
I can do the one with arms down (3 colours) for $14 and the one with arms up for $15 (4 colours) - min order 15 shirts each
can I sell 15 EUO shirts in 2 weeks?

Alternatively, take this simple single colour avatar:
av.jpg
can sell that for $11

Those 2 shirts are all that is left - there is hardly any profit on them, like maybe not even a buck? (can't remember), meaning their base cost is quite high (around $19). However you do get full colour: it is some sort of iron on transfer I think. I have a couple of shirts from cafe press and the quality is quite good.

What drew me to teespring is the fact that the shirts are screenprinted, however that is also it's biggest drawback - limited to 8 or 10 colours and they get really expensive for low runs, and of course: have to sell 10 shirts min!

I guess teespring is getting on the group buy / kickstarter bandwagon.

I like graphics on my tshirts to be pretty basic. How about just EUO on the front center with a few colors? Keeps the cost low and people are more likely to ask me what EUO is as opposed to a design with an avatar on it.
