Hmm, you may want to turn off spell queue for your monk. I have a monk but I only cast those meditation spells out of combat, so the spell queue doesn't bother him. I understand what you mean though - it took a while to get used to waiting for the meditation to finish before casting.

Just put all the skill rates on reg up such that they are now a bit under 1/2 the speed of NG ... so they are all faster but some have gotten more faster than others

(specifically it is roughly 2/5 the speed of NG, where before it was 1/5)

(so I could have just said skill rates have doubled on reg, but with some others sped up a bit more)

plus I don't think it is even that much of an improvement: PD is still ridiculously faster and NG is still much faster

finally an update!

after a break for 4 months I'm pushing out my final changes I did (for weekly revamp that apply to all servers) last year plus a few things this week. Weekly is not updated yet, but the rest of the servers have inherited a change or two from that work.

The first big thing is I've updated my compiler so there is possible trouble there: hopefully won't get any really weird bugs or crashes. Hopefully the new dlls are all ok. Hopefully it will just work.

otherwise changes include:

{{{ finished bonecrafting! }}}
* added refined cloudy beverage to bonecrafting (80% min)
* added bone helmet and bone aegis to bonecrafting (90% min) with new tiles even
* added 2 bonecraftable mini artifacts to 100% bonecrafting: Girdle of the dead (bone belt, vig+8, mr+2, int+10) and Skull of glue and gold (gold carved skull, +health, MR 3)

* F now shoots your first bound ranged weapon (as with EftV): improved networking to make this happen in multiplayer
* when choosing resolution via f12 no longer displaying invalid resolutions
* right click on hotbar button to bind a spell to it (cast-with-words spell only atm)
* in shift-c menu (spells/abilities) you can highlight a spell and hit its bound key to unbind that spell to that key: eg, if highlighted In Lor bound to f1, then hit f1 to unbind, then f1 to rebind it, f1 to unbind it again, etc
* fixed bug when talk to npc and if you are quick you can activate read, buy, view etc and the statbox gets stuck

* wolfform cooldown capped to 60sec, plus the cooldown time rises much slower
* you can search barrels for food
* XMP by monsters only 1/2 heals them the dmg dealt
* QAW by monsters now actually works
* tweaked mob's use of IZH, freezing wind sprays
* blessed ID all scrolls now reveal curses
* can sell anything (over 10gp?) back to merchants for 1/10th of its buy cost

Cool. Now that I'm getting reacquainted with EUO I can turn hephaestus into a fighter/necromancer just to learn the crafting. Farming and crafting; two things I rather enjoy next to fishing (esp with a controller).

ooh, and Hobocommando can now dumpster dive in the barrels. AWESOME!!!

That skull is nice :D, Almost cheese item if I say so myself. But I a more than happy with that Mark of the Beholder arty :p

So that refined thing is powerful and heals 60% (almost :) definitely worth the trouble of making empty bottles, getting clear pots from fountains while having 5 fountains in a row with a hostile water demon :) (This game is SOOOOO evil LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON), making lots of calcium and yellow pots. But I would like it even more if it healed even more! Also you can't use p(otions) to drink it, you have to use v(iew items) then bind it to a key before being able to use it...

About the bone helmet and bone aegis, is it possible to make the def scale according to skill in hexblades instead of Fighter skills?

As a DPS targeted monk I don't like to use weapons in my main hand. Only a good Off-hand support. Now when I use ranged weapons using the F-Key this ranged weapon would be equipped. So unless I manually de-equip it it will be my weapon. Now for my second point. Say I have a ranged 2H weapon. I can't equip my off-hand without having to de-equip it too. My question is whether you'd change these changes or not. So I can look for other means of using ranged weaponry.

The bonecrafting helmet could use a better name other than 'helmet'. Maybe 'skull helm'?

I'm dumb and can't remember my class cap, can you make the shrine of versatility tell you what your class cap is when you level up (as well as the fact it's been increased)

or maybe add it to stats window above where your class % are if it's not 100/125?

Ah, that's useful!

But my point still stands, there's no easy way (like showing it in z-stats and when you level up at versatility) to see your skill/class cap outside of NG
