I'm back from holidays and let me tell you about it.

While I was away I made nearly 10 pages of notes about EUO, and especially in the first week or so camping I was really into theorising about what direction to take it all.

Having trouble thinking about codes – gunna patch the party crash bug and that will do for today.

* finished medium scavenger hunt & made live ... reward is crystal coins
* added crystal coin merch (via portal in nord)
* added blackrock tools that don't break: axe, shovel, mining pick - these are made by blueprints purchasable with crystal coins
* excluding rings, amulets and necklaces from scav hunt (due to ambiguity)

* scrapped collapsed mines, made rand caves (ie treacherous) diggable
* fixed cash shoppe innekeeper selling to LOTL
* added parent item names to size up for named items and artifacts
* artifact updates:
-- Warrior, rogue and magebands now have attack+5 instead of def +5
-- Faulinei felblade is now leech+3 (up from 0)
-- added 3 new rings (+15 stat, +6 AS)
* renamed the NPC Shamino to Oenishi
* can now WoT sigils

I think heroic is monsters three times tougher and epic mobs are five times tougher.
It's always funny until someone gets hurt. Then it's just hilarious.

* AI update: all dragons (drakes, dragon & the wyvern) will now never retreat before casting - they will happily cast & attack you melee while standing adjacent

This update makes dragons way more easier to kill as they don't flee. I don't need to chase them to lava or they don't fly over blackness in phase anomalies.

It's only easier because they are less annoying, and your char is probably too strong for them. A lower level char would have more difficulty with them because
i) the dragon spends less time not attacking you, thus it has higher DPS
ii) the dragon now does more melee dmg, making armour more important

and that's the reasoning beheind the change, and after a trial period with dragons, the AI change will probably be extended to most magic users with high melee damage (probably hellspawn). Things like shamans will remain unchanged.

* shortened & prettied up newbie island, map updates, got rid of max
* revised starting 'classes' ... instead of fighter there is swordsman, macefighter, spearman, axeman, and so on: each is a class package with a bunch of skills
* newbie dungeon beautification

make sure you restart your euo client after patching, or you might have trouble using skils/spells.

Also to note if you make a character before the patch takes effect you might not get the class you want. I made a priest and ended up with an axefighter as the patch hadn't been applied yet. After the patch it worked fine. And here I almost posted a bug. Derf is me! :fp:

the f12 menu doesn't have the display option either (for a larger display)
and mah screen display got moved to dah left? Dafuq happened?
the menu (as in like, banking menu) is on the left, but the client.cfg still states
