Well, uh...

There needs to be COMPLETE animations for each avatar. Otherwise they look OK.

Would you wanna go around as a single frame or would you want some kind of taunt with that halberd in the animation?

Those actually look pretty good. My sis and I really don't like making human type avatars tho. So you spriters out there, show your talent.

What you guys can do is make 1 frame in 16x16 and I'll try and edit the other 3 frames.

I like'em as well. A guy with a polearm is needed but #1 and #3 I like.

Please when you post your sprites, double the size. Make them 32x32. Its much easier to see.

you know, I kinda like them; very dark, realistic (ie not bright) colouring. Need a tidy up and animating.

Extell's FAQ on avatar creation is not explicit on this, but the way avatars are animated in-game is simply by having four different versions of the tile in a row.

Have a look at the btiles23.pcx file in the \pics directory of your EUO install and you'll get the right idea.

However, that's probably not quite what you're asking; making an animated GIF to show off in the forums is a different story. I use GIFAnimator which is a P.O.S., but there's hundreds of freeware GIF animators out there which'll do the job (if anyone can suggest a good free GIF animator...)

I found a few free ones, picked one randomly and stuck with it. :/

A little too bright for me.

My opinion about them: They all look good except the harshness of the movement of the first UA fighter guy. Maybe don't have his movements be so abrupt? I can just picture that will look kinda funny ingame, and then when there's a lot of lag and it's moving like 50x regular speed, it'll look hilarious

Keep making rogue ones! I want a new rogue avatar, but the best one so far (I think) is the archer which you can choose upon starting the character.
