I can confirm this, too. I did the quest recently with my getting-back-into-the-game-after-four-years newbie toon, and I only found the way by starting in the corner and walking onto every square I could. I eventually hit something that teleported me to another area.

Also, since this is the "questions and other stuff" section, is there some reason people keep blocking the entrance to the Shrine of Honesty and going AFK? Right now the only way I can get in is through the Blue stone, and then I have to town portal away from inside the shrine.

Ah, its the best fishing spot for angel fish. Its not intentional. I just seem to get better results standing on the shrine. I used to fish on a raft until I drowned (skeletun) probably would have been preferable there. I'll try to stay off the shrine myself. Sort of used to it on pd and ng since shrines aren't used there for anything but stone use and if one is so poor (to identify for cursed objects) I tend to forget reg utilizes shrines for res sickness and leveling.

They do, but elder overworld animals don't drop items.

I just found a glass-tinted artifact polearm (Dragonskewer). Does that mean that it'll break after one hit? If so, if I can make the adamantium converter, can I convert this thing into an adamantium weapon?

yes it will break in one hit, yes you can make it addy with the transmutation item in the crystal coin shop

If you would rather sell it, or need better items i would pay a pretty penny for it

no rush on the offer

I'd rather hang on to it for now, I think. I have my eye on an ebony wand for my crafter, and I'm thinking of deconstructing it.

I thought deconning tinted items failed or made tinted mythic material that is useless? I have old crystal mythic material from the sin'vraal scepter days. Maybe I didn't see a patch changing that.

Was dragon self heal removed? I heard rumor it was but I haven't tamed a new drake and evolved a pet dragon so I don't have a clue.

You'd know much better than I. The only reason I thought of deconstructing it was that I saw mention somewhere -- either here in the forums or in the manual -- about deconstructing artifacts for mythic material.

Severian intended on expanding Mythicing and making the tinted mythic materials into tint wands basically.

I can't remember that discussion, wasn't listening, etc. surely that has been posted in ideas threads too.
Would that particular sev discussion be in a chat log or an email ? (now I'm just digging for player lore)

Just as a collector I made vamp, addy, glass, crystal mythic material, it looks cool n figured one day it would be useful for mythic tinting LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON just sitting in my basement till then tho

regarding enchants/spell procs

I was told by another player a while ago that having two (or more) instances of an enchant (or something else that causes a spell proc) doesn't actually increase the chances of said spell getting a proc. This conversation happened long enough ago that I don't recall all the details, but IIRC the example they used was having a VF weapon and being in drake aspect. While both the enchanted weapon and the aspect give separate instances of casting VF, the odds of it being cast are not greater than only having one. I wonder if the same would be true for rogues using two short swords with the same enchantments?

The conversation frequently while playing EUO so I'm curious about the legitimacy of the statement. I feel like this is incorrect but I've only ever assumed and eyeballed results.
