Yes, and when i did it i wasn't thinking. I was hoping it'd take on the attack bonus feature. Not as cool with the def and +1mr bonus

Think it's been changed though so you don't have to choose Virgil to get the XC tome anymore. Originally I chose one of the others because I was too scared to take on balrons.

i have pretty much 75% str / 25% dex for longswords, but as soon as i pump myself with some strength+ gear my attack will rise.

One of my cooking recipes requires angel fish as an ingredient. Anyone give me a "clue" where those can be fished? I have 100% fishing and have only been able to find: fish, prize fish, rare fish, wonderous fish, horrendous fish, lava fish, and superior lava fish. Is there an NPC somewhere that clues the player as to where these mysterious angel fish are? Inquiring minds want to know.

I came here looking for this answer too, the fortune cookie told me to fish in the shrine of honesty and i did for about 20 minutes without a single bite, but when i leave the shrine and fish next too it, i catch lots of fish but no angel fish. Do i need a special rod? I've tried standard, superior, and adamantium

Just fish next to it and you should get some eventually.

Bump for interest. Also, has anyone done the math on what the final (level 450) stats would look like for a human character wearing no +stat items, doing a true 3:1 ratio for str/dex? If so, what are the stat points. I have tried to do the math myself, but Im not confident in my math abilities at this time.

This is what Ive gotten so far:

450 x .75 = 337.5 levels to str. (the .5 is moved to int with a 3/3 level, and is calculated after a full level)
450 - 337 = 113 levels to dex

this is the part that Im not confident in, due to work checking. I get 2019 / 3 = 673 as the final for dex.
(336 x 6) + 38 = 2054
113 x 6 = 678

I've also done this:
450 / 3 = 150 (levels into dex)
(450 - 150) - .5 = 299.5 (to account for a 3str / 3int level)

and even with this the work check still doesn't jive.
(299.5 x 6) + 35 = 1832
150 x 6 = 900

450-1(you don't get to appoint the skill points at level 1) = 449
449*6(6 points each level) = 2694(total skills)
dex*3=str; str+dex=2694; 3dex+dex=2694; dex = about 673; str = 2021
that doesn't include the 25 for starting stats but about 2021:673

ok, well that is just doing a brute multiply and Ive done that before. Im curious about including the 35 for the initial stat, as well as accounting for making it a true 3:1 ratio, as you will have to do a 3/3 level into int to make things work out. Ill do some math again. Thanks for the initial help.

well if you spend the time to get to 450 you could buy a respec then they'd look like....
449*6+75(base stats of 25... right?) = 2769(points usable for respec)
2769-25(all skills must be at least 25) = 2744
then apply the steps i used before and that gives you
str = 3*dex; str + dex = 2744; 4dex = 2744; dex = 686; str = 2058
that would be correct if you used a respec^

check : 2058/686 = 3 and 686 + 2058 = 2744 ✓✓

ok, I accidentally bound a ticket to my V key, now I cant view my inventory anymore. Tried to reset the key bindings, that didnt work. Dunno what to do.

bind inventory to another key
then bind ticket to another key
then bind inventory back to v

ok, I did that. I even went through and bound other keys to V. None of them override the ticket, and the ticket is now bound to 5 and V.
