Player Characters: Creation, Stats, Avatars, Leveling

C'mon, that took me like 1 second to find with the search...

Is armoursmithing supposed to be so out of whack compared to the other skills?

What I mean by that is that the other skills are on a consistent scale of increments on a system of 5. Every 5 points increase or 10 points increase in a skill something new can be created...

With armoursmithing it's been oddly eccentric... 5 - 10 - 13 - 25 - 35 (2 new things) - 40... that's as far as I've made it...

It's just a little odd... just questioning it...

Also, would there be any way to make the armoursmith requirements a little more lenient? I had 10k ore saved up just for this skill since I had 100 in weaponsmithing and used ALL 10k (with a remainder of 1 ingot) and only got to 40... =\

Have you tried running EUO under Wine? (And if you do, please tell us if it works that way.)

I've been thru noob dungeon about 50 times with my rather low level rogue...

he can't get traps up because ALL of the trapped chests in noob dungeon all say too diffcult...

Maybe th is should be in the bugs section... but I'm posting it here asking: Is there any other place besides n00b dungeon to get traps up? And then...

Is that a bug??

I was wondering if someone could help me getting started with enchanting...i am trying to create a ring of defense +1. I have the RSS and the fire opel, but when i use the enchanting wand on the pile of goods, i just get enchanting failed.....over and over. I have 0 skill in enchanting and it doesnt go up. Am I doing something wrong, or am i trying to create something to difficult?

try starting out with +1 slaying weapons (dull RSS + diamond + weapon) after you get about 5 or so in enchanting, then try to make +1 def and +1 stat items...

Here's something I heard: Since stats are worth their face value now (5 str is actually 5 str now), instead of the speed of walking being capped at 280 dex, it's now capped at 200 dex. So I could get 200 dex and then I'd be walking at full speed.

Is that true?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but that's "tested and proven" after the patch, right?

Nah not a stupid question; I understand your logic.

And it was after the patch.

Honestly why am I helping my 'enemies' (since after a long long time fighting monsters and having every skill max makes it kinda boring. Only thing left to do is be stronger than other players. Or max new skills ha :P~) and I should just say like 500 DEX or some crap.

But I blame the sleep dep. :P~ Take advantage of it while it lasts. ^^

Has anyone done any experimenting with taming, and found out some cool transformations and/or favourite foods?
In particular, what's a fire lizard's treat?
