You guys could always start a brainstorm thread on necromancers and druids. With morth's plant avatars I see a good opportunities for druids. I forsee necromancers coming out if/when egg puts in vampire curse.

What would really burst peoples buttons is an ethics/alignment meter. Actual penalties for being an evil criminal that would last far longer than just meditating at humility.

When criminal and blasted by guard: if it takes you to 1 or less hp you get a message of "The guards have subdued you. Do you surrender? Y/N?

If yes they toss you in jail for an allotted time or until someone posts bail. If no, then they just kill you.

New moon spawns lesser and medium undead on the continent.
New moon turns graves into random undead spawners (lesser).
Break up the undead categories (Lesser, medium, greater).

Lesser:
Skeletons
Zombies
Mummies
Ghosts

Medium:
wights
skeleton Mages
Skeleton Warriors
Skeleton archers
phantoms
ghouls
greatful dead
Vampire

Greater:
Spectral Reaper
Skeletal Jester
Ancient Vampire
Demi Lich
Lich
Zombie Dragon
Skeletal Dragon
Undead Lord

Need more undead ingame.

I think egg stated before that he kinda hates it when people post ideas for future classes (less he gives the ok?). I may be wrong, but I saw it in response to firepox suggesting things for monks. I forget the reasons, though.

I love the idea of a good/evil alignment. Reminds me of the karma system in the Fallout series. In addition to that (I may have asked this before, sorry if there's a duplication) why not a faction meter as well?

Think of it: The more quests you complete in a specific town, the more people in that same town will like you. Maybe it'll lower buy prices and higher sell prices or something depending on faction. Maybe rarer items will appear in markets. I'd imagine that the faction you get from towns will only go negative if you kill guards - since there is no current thievery system in place (yet?). Don't know how to get it back up though.

Heh, if any of you ever played Alternate Reality then you'd know about the bar scene. If you bought enough drinks for people eventually they'd roar in approval towards you. Was very costly to do that at each bar but the benefits were pretty nice. I think it would have been a step towards getting into various guilds or getting jobs. Alas, future add ons were never fully implemented. Alternate Reality:the dungeon seemed like a separate game from The City.

Another idea for the illusion spell I mentioned before:
You summon a clone that "Flees in Terror" and uses battle roar every few seconds. That would probably be easier to pull off.

Another cool druid spell would be Growth:
Summons 3-6 trees around you to act like a shield. They block vision to prevent magic damage from angles they block and have a set time limit and HP.

Undead trees = Spectral reapers, Make them un-learn their spells and hooray, a giant spermacidal tree.

Would suggest moving zombies and mummies to medium undead since their disease attacks can be harsh for lower lvls.

Some kind of special wood from spectral reapers would also be cool, even tinted logs from them or regular reapers would be nifty.

Allow LOTL on Reg and Up the lvl cap for LOTL players 50 lvls.

Floor and Wall tinting like weapons.
Should work on all the gray walls and the gray floor tile. Probably the gaps in between the stones of the tiles need to be changed from pure gray, so they stay dark gray.
This might spice up the environment and be useful for map makers and scriptwriters. Other stuff in btiles20 might be allowed for tinting as well.

Would it be possible to have a slash command that would put us into heroic or epic mode? Like if you do /heroic or /epic, it turns any dungeon you enter into an instance of that difficulty. Would be a rather nice feature.

Wait, so mort, you mean like an IJO tile. Would be fan-Tastic in BM. although i can see where a Vampyric tile would probably overload with health, go crazy with power and KILL US ALL (and for some odd reason atraxis is online at the exact same time) <- LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON.
