I believe that all VOG tomes should be destroyed. "aka" the 120+ on Hephaestus's merchant on PD. I had 20 on Reg, they have all been thrown in the Rubbish bin. I think that all inventory's should be whipped of VOG except the one you have learned already.

I like this Idea. Some peoples don't know where to get VOG, but hey, that's not my problem. :)

How about bosses having a chance of dropping artifact ingots which you combine with weapon/armorsmithing.

ie hilt of ubersword + blade of ubersword (+X regular or tinted ingots) = ubersword

What about stones opening portals to various shrines corresponding to their colours(or towns)? Black stays as it is.

a few serious ideas of mine...

traps that get activated when someone steps on them (trip wire, bear traps, FIRE)

double xp weekend again :)

attacks that drain some hp to do massive damage

weapons made for a specific things (would be very rare) ex: mage killer- drains MP when it hits something. things like that :)

hunger slowed down a bit, it seems like im eating fish every five minutes :(

Leeching is basically stuck on staves unless you did a little bit of old enchanting. Even then, leeching is not effective for mages except in desperation. For fighters, it ain't too bad even if it gives such a minimal amount to your mana. Worthless to you unless you cast somewhat or dualclass with versatility shrine. If leeching became as effective as vampyric in both weapon and staff it might be interesting to toy with.

Given for example 4 flasks, 3 ginseng, 5 blood moss, 5 x blue potion crafting attempt should make 3 potions and not just fail.

V Of course it does - in that case 3 of each and bumps skill 3/5 of full 5 pots.

Ideas. Keeping with directions short & no wall-o-text:

Druids:

Rename current priests to -->? Divinity = Paladin?

Slings instead of maces, mechanics work the same; aka bless a normal / magic drop
New spell sub-header: Nature - mechanics, work it like maces <--> Blessed maces bug / feature. i.e. Raising Divinity lowers Nature, Blessed slings <--> Blessed Maces and so on. Mutually exclusive. i.e. Priests both get Healing spells - then Divinity = Paladin, Nature = Druid.
Uus spells effect pets / summons instead -> 2 types: damage + AS & Health. These replace divinity spells.
Current Pet scrolls available as spells + circle 3 (5?) directed calm spell
Move Insect Swarm to Druids, give Divinity Paladins str+ like EU as 4th circle replacement
Sword Golem replaced by Ent summon [important to keep summon melee still]
Level based reduction on XP penalty to pet / summon kills. i.e. At level 100 XP penalty is reduced to 90% of XP, not 10%. This could work as % of Nature skill instead: 100 nature = 90% XP by summon kill
Circle 7th spell = AoE calm [all grey, depending on level check vrs monster MR]
Circle 8th spell = pet / summon transformation - adds ++ family definition to pet. i.e. Dragon -> Blood Dragon, Demon -> Balron for short period. Possible DoT on pet / summon for this duration?
Instead of weapon specials, Blessed Slings @ 90 then 100 = larger summon / pet slot #? --> Dangerous :cheese: abuse if too high


MR

IJO used to be a mage killer [grr] - give certain mobs VIJO = reduces MR by 50% for X seconds - no resist on this
Up physical damage of some mobs - dragons esp should have a decent swipe / claw attack

Poison Ward (EUO’s answer to player-set traps).

It spawns hidden or invisible when used by a player. It casts SL (invisibility) much like other mobs. It casts INH (poison wind) when evil mobs are in range. It is craftable at 85% enchanting using a brilliant red shard, cloth x2, lumber x2 and snake’s venom.

When gremlins steal food it should tell you what was stolen, ie: "gremlin stole some bread!". Also on the automap I would make the crosshairs for the player purple in color since red is used for lava.
