To expand on McDeath's ideas, make non-athame hexblades viable:

Allow parry/riposte with krys
Allow dual wielding/offhand of stilettos
Give sickle the reduced mana use and faster cooldown of staves

Something isn't right with the live version. The damage is exactly the same as the Athame. I was hitting for 130s with the sickle. I equipped my Athame and I was getting the same damage.
