The problem with keeping enchanting the way it is that it is not fair to newer players. This is because the older players made their equipment back when enchanting didnt soulbound items. All the people i see voting no are ones that already have the gear they want, some even have more that they have ...

I agree, it seems unfair that you can find tinted armor drops in heavy or medium armor, but with light and unarmored gear you have absolutely no chance of finding tinted gear. That means that a fighter could possibly find gear that would be good for them where a rogue or mage or monk would have to h...

Diamond is pretty much useless at higher levels unless you pvp because your AS is high enough to hit most monsters anyway, so being able to diamond a +7,+8 weapon isnt worth much. i would love to 'work' for my gear, but at the rate i'm finding stuff it'll take 2 years to find something I could actua...

Poll: should enchanting be returned to the way it was?
I vote for yes My reason is because i'm noticing that the +5 and higher weapons i find that aren't tinted are pretty much worthless. The players that are lower level that might want them cant use them, and the higher level players that could use them would rather have a tinted weapon so they dont wa...

I was just wondering why you never get tinted cloth or leather armor as drops, aside from the occasional vampy or venny gloves? it'd be cool if you could find silverweave or studded or darkweave for example. Then it would be possible, however unlikely to find like a darkweave gi(torso) + 7 or studde...

You're prolly right Gulnar, i need to examine it a little more closely to see if there is a slight effect due to the darkweave/silverweave. I'll have to analyze the numbers a little more and try some different combos to see if there is a difference. And you are alos right about monks getting more cr...

I've made gloves of attack of varying tints and had unexpected results. i expected darkweave gloves of attack to act like BR weapons but there was no increase in damage at all. I made some silverweave gloves of attack and i didnt see any increase in damage against undead monsters. I tried goldweave ...

Has anyone else noticed that item drops have gotten worse here recently? The best item i've gotten off a dragon in the last week was some field plate + 5. It seems like dragons aren't dropping as good of items as they were even before the patch. I dunno if this is intentional or not or what's going ...
