Re: Taming Guide
Very sad that you got rid of the fire dragon. Some people have tried 20 times to get a fire before finally getting one. Maybe I didn't really know what I had. Before I dropped it, I compared the stats though. Fire dragon and black dragon seem to have the same stats including casting speed, except t...

Re: Taming Guide
I don't have any idea what golden dragon you're talking about. Fire dragons are the best imo, fire resist is helpful for them. Well, fire dragons look kind of golden, don't they. ;) So what I meant, was fire dragon. ("Golden" is a common colour for dragons in mythology or fantasy. "S...

Re: Taming Guide
Alright, I was rather lucky and got my black dragon today (by leveling drake to 25). I hope, it doesn't transform into anything else at level 50. Thanks for answering.

Re: Taming Guide
I got a question about dragon-evolution. The manual says: Some creatures will 'grow up' (similar to Pokemon evolution) at level 25 and possibly again at level 50. The best example of this is the drake to dragon 'evolution'! You can't tame a dragon; only a drake, and then you have to go level your dr...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes
Additionaly, here's the config-file with the settings, I find useful at the moment. The file has to be in the EUO-directory ("C:\...\euo") and has to be called "config_Yourcharactername.lua", where "Yourcharactername" is the name of your character, obviously, so for me ...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes
In the default auxbox.lua-file, there was also some useful damage-per-second-code by LordMortiferus. As far as I can see, he didn't put it into the "framework"-format yet. So I took an approach with his code. The file should be called "LM_dps.lua" (if Mort agrees, that his "...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes
yea bro, no framework here I was just copy-pasting individual code blocks. I stopped when you started making your code generator as I had no clue how to post/break that down So if I get you correctly, you'd like to have the code in a format that fits to this , right? Not much of a problem, I just t...

A santa-claus-NPC that appears around christmas on snowy island (and maybe does something, not sure what yet). Maybe some reindeers too.

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes
Just wanted to point at my version of auxbox.lua . Unfortunately I didn't know about your framework (if that's the correct word for it), I just looked into the .lua-file that comes with the client one day and thought, well, that looks ugly. I also wanted to understand what was going on there, so I l...

Re: the scripting thread
The time of the EUO-server has been changed from local Sydney-time to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). This makes it way easier for my auxbox-script to calculate the remaining time of Double-XP and the days to Double-XP (counting down from 7). So here's the updated version. As always, it's called '...

Re: Ideas thread 2014
Logging on again after a few months to get the additional 50 levels, I just wondered, where all these cursed items come from in general. Maybe it would be fun to have some NPC somewhere just sitting there and cursing stuff all the time. If you talk to him, he throws lots of (verbal) curses at you to...

Updated the one I use too. Here it is:
vintage light
(Must be called "btiles20.32.png" of course, and remember to switch on "32x32"-support in the F12-menu.)
Edit: I also took care now of the "cavern-hole-tile-bug", mentioned by browniedefender here.

Re: The level cap.
Went to 450 a few weeks ago. Did another BM-run with a party, but realized, it just doesn't make sense any more. It's a bit like graduating high school or something: You're beyond it afterwards, no way to turn back. So relating to the game the level cap is quite like "Game over". At least,...

Re: /ear bosses
Possible in bayside. Yeah, found him ("Cousin of Lugnuts") now. Was right at the well (as you said in-game). Very rare spawn, it seems. Thanks a lot! MoonGoat thought of a way of getting at the Orcosaurus (again). It includes making a new char. ;) Was a bit of work (and fun!), but worked ...

Re: /ear bosses
In addition to Djanno's list there's "Orcosaurus", but people like me who did the quest way earlier can't get at him again.
And someone had "Cousin of Lugnuts" in his list. No idea, where (or when) that one may spawn.

MMNS (Reg)
Hi there, recently Goat passed leadership of MMNS to me, basically because I may play more than him these days and he thought, in general, leader of " Mystic Mages of New Sosaria " should be a (high-level) mage. He also encouraged me to make my own clan-thread, so here it is. :) Goat did a...

Re: the scripting thread
Here's a Lua-mystery: In my auxbox-script above I use UTC-time, then add 10 hours to get sydney-time (without daylight saving time) like it's shown here . Strange thing is, when I add for example 3600 seconds to UTC-time and convert to a timetable, two hours are added, not just one. Example (with pr...

Re: /ear bosses
Concerning VOT: I'd also vote for an ear-boss in the temple of the Sky-god. And another one on the glacial plateau. You know, where you climb through with the grappling hook and there's a hidden area with lots of iron golems and some buildings. Not much there (yet), but I like that place. (You get ...
