Re: moa patch 0.96 - crafting revision stage one and other mods

simply logging ash got me to 75.2% woodcrafting and it was raising very weird. There would be no bump for a few logs and then it would bump anywhere from 0.6% to 1% two logs in a row. I think this may just be a natural bit of lag, unrelated to the new patch - I've occasionally noticed similar behav...

Great to see crafting getting some attention; I really like the direction you're going with it. Comparing how quickly my inscription is rising to before the patch, I'm surprised at just how much it's been sped up - I'm happy about it, but I'm inclined to say it almost seems a little too fast. But th...

Re: Please bring back the ability to make enchanted armour!

I think part of the reason old enchanting was removed was specifically to prevent a scenario where everybody always has the maximum quality stuff they can use, all the time. Not having that makes really good gear actually valuable. Also, with the recent buffs to vigour, what the heck do you need tha...

Wear... Lose it or Fix it?

I'm not really sure what the point of weapon wear in rpgs is - a hint of realism that translates into a pain in the ass? I guess with regards to my suggestion, I was partially thinking along the lines that there's currently too much equipment flooding the in-game economy. There's some pretty nice s...

Wear... Lose it or Fix it?

What if reduced damage from wear was scrapped, and the only negative effect was that the weapon disintegrates at 100% wear? This way a weapon simply has a limited lifespan unless it gets repaired eventually, but you don't have to worry about repairing it constantly just to keep your damage and attac...

The new tile work everyone's doing looks really nice. Unfortunately, ditching the universal-black-background scheme seems to necessitate some new tiles - the diagonal grass/water borders no longer work in the desert, for instance, and foothill areas are going to look pretty awkward without some new ...

Hm. I just recently started using Myspace, just for publicity purposes as a musician. I suppose since there's already this thread for it there's no harm in a quick plug eh?

I seem to recall one of the major arguments for nerfing enchanting being that there were too many good items being made, flooding the system. However, I also recall some talk about a polypile cheese (I don't know what it was exactly) that allowed people to start with low-level items and eventually g...
