a jeweller skill would be interesting imo. maybe use tinkers kit, but its a different skill? base materials could be gems found when mining and ingots/gold nuggets. this would also allow players to decon necklaces and rings.

the barbarian could be to the fighter what the bard is to the rogue. just give it a "rage" ability thats mutex with tactics. maybe make it so the barb gains extra rage, and the more rage it has, maybe it regens hp, or gains as/mr/ac, and maybe it could have "extra" rage, like it gains 1 point of ext...

idea for runed/addled armor: runed armor gives you 10% more rage gain per piece, addled armor has a chance to confuse enemies that hit you, but when you are hit theres a chance youll be confused too

i personally dont think stealth and music need to be mutex, as long as you cant do both at the same time, like how holding a light source deactivates stealth.
also, why not make the bard a full caster? give it two "schools" of music magic, one focused on buff/damage, the other on debuff/control

Personally, i think capping the effect of dex at all doesnt make any sense, cause if i invest every point i have into dex i should get returns. Maybe get diminishing return as it gets higher. give pets special abilities as they level up:
spiders can trap targets in webs, caster pets learn new spells, werewolves summon blue(not green) wolves, vampires share the hp they leech with you, and swarms get bigger and disease targets

spell idea:fragrant flower creates a sweet smelling flower in the ground where you are(works as a tile) that attracts monsters and makes them docile(can be resisted by random chance improved by mr/diminished by caster's int, but if they resist they need to "reroll" every 3-(skill level/50) seconds) ...

I agree with rumper about partial respecing. maybe do just 50% tho also make wisps the true utility form by making them unable to attack but have some insane dodge rate, and either make them a light source(so no invis) or give them some good nv. crocs can swim but what about deep water? sharks can d...

have croc form double def and have fast and strong attacks, while rabbit cant attack at all(since most points would go to dex i imagine) or make the croc form the melee dps and create a bull/mino form that has high hp and regen. maybe give crocs poison. also spell ideas: elemental powers! stone spik...

i think 2x def and mr are good enough.
-25% dex and +25% str too, i guess. dont know abput the whole no mana thing, maybe give it like half mana, so you can still make a priest or monk, or druid if the melee options are viable.

to @eggmceye : Ok, so here's a obnoxious and uncalled for idea for a new server with a new character progression because I have a few grievances with the current ones: PD level up system(because I'll be damned if I'm ever forced to wasting time travelling to those shrines instead of wasting time act...
