Make mobs that hit the req for dropping fancy map come with a side loot like the way radioactive mobs drop rad cookies. Crystal shards for sosaria/vials of blood or something for maeondir. Don't need them to be valuable, but will give an actual hope that you are indeed possibly rolling for said map....

When in party with 1 or more peoples, anything that drops HAS to be rolled for before it can be picked up. Maybe just in same map or something. Kinda like WoW I think, might stop ppl just ganking items. (dracos suggestion)
