my previous formula proposal's HP is too high
revised new formula, based off reg/pd's formula, where lvl is replaced with (2*raw_stat_total-75)/6

hp=raw_str+1.5*(2*raw_stat_total-75)/6+10

again it's a nerf for <1000 stats but if you look at the "effective" stat total col (which takes in 2x stats for ng) and compare to the hp col, it scales pretty well
last col is current ng hp total

it is done
* stat cap doubled to 2000 as a start with potential to increase it to 3000
* new max HP formula which is basically a nerf but brings it into line with reg/pd as far as max HP is calculated
* hoping it isn't mad slow to get to 2k

Stat gain is super slow, but not the end of the world.

Edit: INT raises super slow, my session time is almost 7 hours and 15 minutes, of spamming IL and I've only went up roughly 111 points.

Really looking forward to playing NG again. Training some strength today from 950 to 975 seemed a little slow but it wasn't too bad. I'll see how bad it is past that.

So I was using block to train my strength. It took about 2 hours and 23 minutes for 100 stat increases. Its a wee bit slow now, couldnt imagine the 1900 to 2000 grind.

I'll check it out

also, weekly will inherit this HP nerf .... maybe weekly needs to be made harder? I could put the cap up on weekly to compensate if it is now suddenly too hard
(this hp has not been made live on weekly)

When you raised the stat cap to 1000 last time, you had to adjust it since it was very slow. I'm guessing the same thing is happening.

I suggest a weekly server that is actually weekly (not monthly) with some of the redundant last 10 levels removed. Of course this should reward like 10 addy coins, not 50.

If I remember right ,int doesn't increase using full learned spells, but hexblades work fine.

24hours of nonstop castin IL which is the fastest spell to spam got me from 25 int to 1091.

10hours ago my int was 999 so it takes maybe 12 hours for 100 points now and it is getting slower all the time.

I checked my ng stats gains/time spreadsheet & have tweaked the knobs accordingly, tuned to the new 2k cap

I still haven't checked what W is like

now it is much faster.

1261 int at the moment and need to cast only about 100 times to get it to 1262 which seems to be pretty decent.

no ideas about str gains, need to try it out.


edit:

tried str training with block and its pretty fast also from 950+ stat, doesnt take weeks of fighting to get to max stat again :)

so.. i don't wanna bitch, but int gain seems a bit 'tarded. There's a lot of AFK spell spamming to max out int. can it be changed/made so that ANY spell at ANY level will take up intel, cause that's currently not the case. if In Lor (for example) is maxed out at 99 (level 29.6 i think), you get no intel from it as many times as you cast it. same will all other spells unless it's tier 8, but reality when hunting, tier 8 isn't used as much as tier 5, 6, or 7. so it makes getting more int a pain in the arse once your fighting.

while we're NOT forced to afk train int, it feels like we are at the same time.

/trimskill to 0 while afk spamming. I’ve done similar in day of old for other skills. Sure you can’t go for a walk or watch a movie without some monitoring.

Makes me wonder on any server if people didn’t just play and cast as they went rather than “train?”
