After selling a dark gi (torso) + 7 for 11000 so quickly, I wondered if i was going by proper prices and whatnot (since I had nothing to compare it to). So, I've decided to come to the forum, for this one.

I'm actually at college doing the rest of the multiple choice part of my take home exam that's due today. I'll see if I can get on (as I'm on my laptop using the library's weak wifi), but it won't be for long. I think I'll wait till I see more offers in this thread though before attempting any sort of actual trade (thanks to advice from a certain someone).

The main problem is its a gauntlet, not a glove. No mage would want it because its heavy gear, and no fighter would want it because its int... and also you don't use gauntlets for offence in UA. So... it's not that valuable or desirable. If it was vampy gloves + 25 int i'd be after it...
On the other hand, darkweave +7 def is very valuable, shame about being ripped off. It could have gone for 10, or even 50 times that number.

I think it probably does, at least on ua gloves. That's why I'm after a vampy int or vig glove. But why would a mage want to be wearing gauntlets any other time? Too much bother having to both switch equipment and cast polymorph.

well, I've set it to an actual price. 55,000 gp. Don't know if that's too cheap, but its of no use to me. Most of the other +25 gear was up to 75,000 gp, so hopefully this seemingly not so usefull item is fairly priced. Anyone want it? First come first serve.

They no longer drop? interesting, I remember when I had a crappy sword + 7 str stowed away after so long, that got sold for a decent offer. On a different note, you can use things other than cloth for UA I thought?
