Testing out the amp wand on alpha, and the books says def will go to +9 but it only went to +7. Not sure if bugged or mistype.
Yeah i was an idiot and didnt copy and try on alpha first, i just bought 2 of them and tried to use them both didnt even pay attention to the first one not working. Rip.

the amp wand only adds +1 to something - just like the other wand, except it works on +5 to +9s
to get +10 you need a +9 to start with
flaming is material 0x16, (i think, check materials.txt)
eg 0x6012.1 for a flaming long sword
I haven't used it yet because I'm not that enthused by the effect: think it is a bit over the top, and might tone it down

Are you kidding? That looks amazing, especially wielding a flaming claymore looks bad ass!!!! Obvious that is my opinion. However, I am curious what it will look like when toned down - might even look better especially on dropped items.
I will probably test a whole bunch of flaming items today. Burning snowman

I used it on a balmythic adamantium crook +9. Didn't work for me. I tried on aplha, its because its named. Other +9s improve to +10 no problem.
It will make a named +8 into a +9, but the +9 won’t show +10. If everything I did was right, I noticed a difference in my AS when I made it into a +10, just still showing as +9.
