I was able to run the client on a Pentium machine (about 166 MHz) under Win98 - that is slow!

Actually the minimum requirements for Windows 10 is amazingly low. Especially compared to the dreadful Windows Vista!
1GHZ processor, 1GB RAM and 16 GB free hard-drive is all you need to run it.
I could imagine that if he is using 2GB of RAM or even an AMD processor or an early (low grade) i3 processor EUO would run slow at the start. . . but so would everything else LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON

Ehhhh, don't be too fooled by those "minimum requirements". While it is true that Win 10 will run on those low specs anyone actually doing so will also notice it grinding the hell out of the harddrive using swap space to keep it going. It's like trying to peddle a mountain bike uphill using only one leg. And the minute you run another application on top of the OS you're in swap space city... Pagefile.sys = 20 GB and growing...KoRnAGAIN wrote:DrRude wrote:I gotta ask -- how is your computer able to run Windows 10 and be slow opening EUO?Shino wrote:problem solved, my computer is just slow as f**k on opening euo

Oh it'll run on those minimum req for sure. The issue is like you said- the moment you start to do anything else it'll drop all sustainability.
I've test almost every MS OS system req for a project I did once. It'll work . . . but that my point i my first post. He could run Windows 10 with as low of a settings as the ones I said but if his PC specs are even remotely close to the minimum opening up EUO (or anything for that matter) will have a massive hindrance!
