Can't Play this Amazing looking Game :(

Hi there, so - I run on an Aspire One(One of those miniature laptops used by 5th graders) - simply put, I cannot change my resolution to that of 1024x764 or w/e that is required on this laptop. Simply wont let me. So, I am asking if you may perhaps add in a function like that of old day(and republished) magestorm, and the Old well known Ultima Online - the function that changes the resolution within the fixed box, even if the system doesn't have it as a standard. (Which, is exactly what both Ultima Online and Magestorm(Aka Gamestorm, back from AoL) does)

Got a friend that linked me here, was eager to try it out seeing it like LoK(Legends of Kesmai), UO, Warcraft, Nox, etc. ... so many great games in one from what I see. Would love to beable to download your game and play it without having to pre-resolutionize my screen to 1068x764 or w/e, that is required currently. PLEASE, thanks.

If there's any fixes anyone has, please post here and I will check over the course of a few days. Hoping there is a program that changes resolution even for things that can't do it themselves ;o

edit client.cfg

edit or paste in these lines:

res_x=800
res_y=600

or set to any rez you want but that is a very safe one

Yea, that didn't work either or I am just not doing something right. I tried my resolution of 1024x600 and that didn't work, tried 800x600 and a whole list of other randoms. Non worked - Edited with Notepad.

make sure you do the edit when euo is NOT running

I haven't been able to get it to run, so having it run during edit is out of the picture *(chuckles)*

didn't help =/ Ah well, guess I'll just have to wait til I have a better laptop - or if it ever goes mobile ;o

I got euo working on my asus eee pc 10.1 minilaptop editing client.cfg :

fullscreen=1 and res_x=800 and res_y=600.

if you find out what your native rez is of your laptop then you should set the game rez to that .... and use fullscreen=1 of course

Yes, only level 5. Have had net problems, thanks for pointing out my level.
