I've seen some chatting on global about the next x2 weekend and wanted to say that it should be next week (starting 7th Sep) and not this weekend (30 Aug). For future reference, x2 weekend (should) start on the first Saturday of every month.

While playing 1.5xp on PD, I was trying to power a priest up as fast as possible, figuring I'd go right up to the cutoff point. If I'm not mistaken, the 1.5xp increase stopped within an hour or so before midnight leading into Monday, Sept 09th.

I keep a Worldclock on the desktop of my Linux box so I can know the time anywhere at a glance; Sydney is at the top of the list. I specifically logged out and logged back in to see if that purple exp boost message popped up... and it didn't. Dunno if the exp boost is set on a timer or manually started/stopped so I figured I'd make mention that it didn't go to midnight.

Other than that, had a ball playing 1.5xp boost in PD.

I thought about that possibility, too, so I checked using these sites:

and my worldclock was in sync with their clocks. Either we were all off by an hour or something (cron job maybe?) might have run prematurely on the server?

Again, the early return to normal exp wasn't that big a deal; I mentioned it mostly as an FYI in case that time issue was indicative of something else happening beneath the surface.

Few things I would like to see , on the second weekend have ctf events that can be worked out for solo n team with say addy coins or other prizes like the coins that go to the treasure for pvp chest , speaking of , third weekend should be pvp weekend with a tracking for kills n again can work out prizes like random mythic material supply's too gwots . ( would go good with the ears thing I was talking about from pvp)

Pity it isn't extended a day. Due to time zones it often ends sunday morning. I don't think an extra day would hurt any (well... it migt hurt those who have to go to work on Monday). = don't grind and work or the coffee god might not be enough. Isn't xp weekend automated anyways?
