Now this is a crazy idea, but work with me.

What if there was a place where you could walk into a portal, and be transported to an instance that was similar to an event? (Betting ring maybe? its lost its use)
(ex. enter "Inferno Dragon tp" and fight an Inferno Dragon)

This would totally automate events, eradicate the need for DMs, and players could access the events whenever they please (with restrictions)

The real question is how often could you access these, and by what means
(Just walk into the tp whenever/one "event" per day/ X "Event passes" handed out to subs)

This adds more features, more versatility, and should be relatively easy to code as these events already exist, and (im guessing) making an instance isnt too hard to do.

This actually sounds like an awesome idea. If it was a once a day idea it would encourage people to sign on every day. The chance for something really nice would have to be very small (1% maybe) so it doesn't flood the economy with epic loot.

It sounds like the EUO equivalent of the Holodeck in Star Trek: TNG. That'd be hot!

12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock AM and PM might work out better -- it'll give players a chance to jump in regardless of time zone or schedule. At least on the 12 and the 6 or 3 and the 9.
