I found this funny when I went to reinstall euo on my computer. I just got Norton 360 v.6 and it did an auto scan after EUO was finished downloading and this is what happened.

Had To shut down the anti-virus to install just thought it was funny that happened.

Simply put, this is Symantec's way of saying "We don't know what this is"... they essentially want software developers to apply to get their programs added to a whitelist of software that is safe to install. It's half-a-racket because the bigger that whitelist gets, the more "importance" Symantec will supposedly gain in the marketplace.
