Just ten minutes ago i was cleaning up my inventory.
Putting things into different containers in the IAG-clanhall. The messagebox told me, that i put some stuff into a chest which i didnt put there, the most important was a SC aegis. I checked the container for safety and then everything crashed. I couldnt move or do anything else. When i logged in again five minutes later, the SC was gone. Not in my inventory and not in the container.
What happened here? Any ideas about it? :?
Im not in that bad mood if the SC isnt replaced, but id like to know what happened to prevent it if possible.

I apologize if this is a repost, but when partying, sometimes your party member will disappear (especially after sharing a square and moving).

I`ve noticed that too (its the 7 to me) -its happening, when i use the global chat e.g.
It binds the item at the top of your inventory list.
I solved it this way: i put the item i want to bind to 7 at the top of my inventory (select item and use shift up/down to position it) , so it always got bound to 7 again (in my case, its the butchers knife :) )

You don't necessarily have to have it in your inventory, I or example have had 'zinc tomahawk +50' and 'tomahawk enchanted (KXC)', which seems fairly random as I've never had either of those items. Also, saying '/'(I'm assuming shift+any number will do the trick even) will activate the rebind, and if you pressed enter before you get the inventory menu up you'll rebind to your selection every time you type shift+number.

So ever since I got unbanned, my patcher doesn't run right. I launch EUO and it says theres a patch, I click ok for it to start the patch and I just get ( Permission Denied). Same thing when I go into my EUO folder and manually run it. Keep having to reinstall EUO to get the patches.

experimental fix:
next time it happens, run task manager, go to process tab, kill euo.exe
then try running patcher by hand

non us keyboards?
also this isn't happening when using inventories -
can you provide exact step by step example please

Yes, we're both using non-US keyboards. I'm unable to reproduce it reliably though. I notice that it tries to rebind(and fails) when I press shift+7('/') without having the chat open.

If you sort your inventory when viewing it through the 'd'rop list it won't save the sorting.

The party member dots will lag behind if you're in the same ship.

Regarding the binding of hotkeys - not sure if this helps.
When you have a non US-keyboard where you have to use shift+7 for / ,you always see what item is binded to number 7 when you want to chat - thats because shift + any number show you what item is binded to the keys respectivly. When you search your inv/banker/etc. you do it by pressing shift+7 = / which will enable the search function AND binds any item thats highlighted at the very moment to the number 7 key. You can only sort while 'v'iewing your inventory.

Yeah, that's probably(although not necessarily all the issues with shift+7) it. As for the sorting, yes I know. But it allows you to even try, either sorting should work in the 'd'rop list, or it shouldn't even let you try.

I seem to have lost an item to a bug. I believe it's related to chest sorting, I'll give you as much information as I can, hopefully you'll be able to track down what happened. To be clear, I really don't care at all about getting the item back, more worried that it will happen again to something that I can't replace.

What happened:
1) Bought a blackrock flail + 9 from Nekro.
2) Picked it up from the ground in nord bank, where Nekro dropped it.
3) Took it to my house, and (shift+b) placed it in my chest named "Good" (11' 84", Traders')
4) Looked in the chest (with 'b'), filtered for /blackrock, saw that it was in there (was seeing what other br + 9 i had)
5) Closed out of the chest and did /sort, moved it up with the other blackrock (I used both shift + up and shift + pgup).
After that I'm unsure of exactly what I did, but it involved another sort, to move the br hoe +9 up with the others. It had already been in the chest for a long time.

I've looked in my inventory, and every chest I own, and in my bank. The item isn't anywhere. There is another visible oddity, the blackrock morning star + 9 in the same chest is now sorted at the very top, when before it was sorted down a little with the other blackrock items. I also tried removing like 1/2 of the items in the chest, and looking again (since I know that having too many items in one chest can make some invisible), but it is still not there. Also tried relogging.

on pd, and weekly pd while LOtL you can drop your stuff, delete the char and make a new one with the same name and pick the stuff back up

My flesh golem gets really stupid in the middle of a fight and just runs back and forth, not attacking anything.

So far this has happened in follow, heel, and guard mode.

Haven't checked to see if it happens with other pets.

Oddities & Bugs
  • at Duogon Tower and underpassages 33' 96'' there is an odd pile of gold that cant be picked up and when looked at repeats, 'you see some gold coins (3 peices)' enough times to fill the whole chat log.
  • at Snowy Island 6' 56'' there is a void tile that kills you when you take a ladder to it. also, on the inside of that little busted up boat (west of island entrance), you are able to walk on the darkness tiles.
  • at Under the Mountain Pass, Southern 36' 35'' where the portal puzzle begins, one of the second pair of portals is supposed to put you back at the start but puts you instead a little ways past where you go when you succesfully navigate the puzzle. thus kinda making it pointless.
  • the Book 'Chronicles of Kurzmord'ar', the first sentance has the letter 'K' instead of Kurzmord'ar. (i assume) feature
    [*]copper weapons do not show their reduced speed rating when veiwing them in inventory.
    [*]artifact weapons that are as/damage +7 do not show their increased damage rating when veiwing them in inventory.
    [*]using a wand of pet constitution on a pet thats already been zapped returns a message reffering to the wand as a taming wand instead of the new name.
  • after my pet dragon gets whacked with thunderclap it seems to cast offensive spells on itself (maybe feature, dunno). Also occasionally after the confusion wares off the beast will just sit there and not follow me even after i say 'follow', i put him in/out of his pokeball and that seems to clear it up.
  • all of the Nizweideux custom mobs had their weapons removed when Lord Mortys visible arms were implemented.
  • when i was doing the quests in Seftonvile from Sardor, he was talking about his last delivery quest to Montor when i still had 2 other quests from him that weren't given yet. so i would ask about the delivery quest and he would say im not ready for it yet but would not mention the prerequisite quests.
  • just an observation, there does not appear to be a normal way to get to the little beach area in the northeast corner of the Monastery. (you are able to get there by klimbing though, through regions at that)

  • if my pet is standing on a 'sec' feature, (after it has been turned into a door) he blocks my movement.

I planted marigold and later i harvested it, the plant got destroyed , but i didnt get seeds from it .
Later i tried to plant hops there and it said there is already something planted , but i looked at the spot and it said : "you see dirt".

I couldn't find a bugs thread in PD section so I'll post this here for now...

Well I was leveling with others on the PD server and I was in the back of the pack with nothing around me and suddenly was hit with random lag. I waited about 10 seconds, coming back to find a random ghost around me and two dragons below me and had full health (There was nothing to suggest, I was attacked to be dead at all). The group runs back up and kills the ghost saying I died and I asks what happened. I respond telling them I dont know at all, because on my screen I wasn't dead, I still was at full health and was never attacked. From there view I was a ghost, but from mine I was still an orc avatar. They res me, even though I wasn't dead (totally weird on screen). Well we go on leveling, and a while later I decide to call it quits so I log off at my house. I tried to log back on and it says character not found now...

Bad way to lose my guy in his house haha. Just thought it was really random how I lagged out, came back "dead" somehow... play and level up, then log out and try to log back on to find character not found.

Side note, my ghost dropped duplicated items and the exact amount of gold I already still had on my guy. So I had double the gold, two vamp scims+3, double the amont of blank scrolls and random crap like that.

Nothin important. When making pots with shift f11. Accidentally hit h. Picked up the bench. Still made pots. Tried again with 'g'rab. Same thing. So was making potions without a bench.

You will find those black undertiles on nearly every map. I volunteer to fix it - schould have time and bad weather over the holidays anyways - just send me a mail egg. Edit: Doing that i could update the map list on the manual as well.

Visible Weapons are show incorrectly from time to time. The sprite does not always change when someone readies another weapon, e.g. I saw Moongoat equipped with a short sword and shield but he was actually using a sling.

I see that all the time when someone changes weapons. I believe it MIGHT show properly when a map is changed but I have yet to test it. It also gets me when I see someone with melee weapons and they are sitting there shooting. I have not seen one instance when someone switched weapons it actually visibly changed them. When I personally change weapons though I see that change made.

probably just because the serv doesn't synch the change out to save bandwidth
experiment: change wep then cast a spell like IL and the change will probably become visible then
