whenever i try to load the 3d client, i get an alleg42.dll error.
How do i fix that?

I guess it says it can't find alleg42.dll anywhere? Make sure it is in the same directory as 3d client and, even better, have the 3d client in the same directory as regular EUO client. If you still can't find the alleg42.dll file, just download it from somewhere - search in google.
