I believe the NV was buffed from +3 to +4 to offset the change from gold to copper, so rogues could use it.

click the "cash shoppe" picture on the left side menu. looks like a shopping cart in the background.

edit- if that doesn't work, http://www.euotopia.com/buy.htm is the page.

Lemme know what you all think, corrections, etc.

QUESTION: Do the different armor supertints glow with the different colors of red (Mythic), orange (Mystic), and green (Astral) like the weapons do?

Thanks!

Good question, I could check later. Now that I think about it, do the weapons only glow when equipped? I know artifacts glow when on the ground, but I don't know about non-artifact mythics.

Looks great btw, I'll go through the whole thing later and let you know if I see anything (or I might just edit it).

Thanks, and glad you like it!

Also, is there some sort of legend or backstory for mythic stuff that can be included in the manual or put into in-game tomes? Maybe there could be a contest to come up with the best origin stories for each of the Mythic, Mystic, and Astral categories. ;)

From what I remember, the origin story is along the lines of "a man so hungry for power, he created a wide range of different powerful enchantments to suit his power needs across all of his alter egos before deciding it wasn't worth it anymore."

Just kidding, of course, that would be absurd. I think there could be some lore but only if there was a quest leading up to mything your first item (would be difficult and probably more trouble than it's worth).

Ha, ha, those are *terrible* legendary origin stories, even if they are accurate in their representation IRL of putting Mythic features into the game!

Probably been addressed before at some point, but I have some quick questions regarding magic resistance:

1. Is mr capped at 10k or can some epic mobs go over? (ex: An epic blood lord has 20k int, meaning it would have at least 13k mr)

2. Do diamond staves actually help break through mr? It doesn't appear in the magic damage formula, despite appearing in physical damage calculations.

On the weekly perma-death server, how can you safely reveal which items are cursed without a shrine?

Altars can spawn (albeit quite rarely) in dungeons. Dropping an item on the altar is the same as dropping an item near a reg shrine. Alternatively, if you search enough bookcases, you can get a blessed scroll of uncurse all, which uncurses every item in your inv.

Here are a few ways to determine and uncurse items:
-place them on altars that spawn in dungeons
-use blessed scrolls of uncurse all
-learn the divinity spell "detect traps and curses" and then use a scroll of uncurse all (which is craftable)
-uncurse items before you pick them up
-cursed items won't stack with non-cursed items, this is helpful for items that you have large qtys of (e.g. bandages, potions)
-use them or equipment them LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON

Seems like it would hurt the business of the Cure/Heal all merch that no one uses to begin with.
