I read these curious posts and checked the source and sure enough, SC will prevent a perm death!
I really wonder if this should be the case? I feel like for safety's sake that SC should be simply completely disabled on any PD server.


i kinda like it the way it is! if you think you're immortal with death ward casted on you, but it runs out, you still Perm. Sounds like a "that's what you get you cheatin bastard" to me. X-D X-D X-D X-D X-D X-D X-D

I don't know how it should work. I searched forums for ideas and didn't find much. You instantly res with 1/3 hp which sounds dangerous. Myabe I could start logging when it happens and revisit it in a month to see if it's worth worrying about.

Maybe give it a 12/24 hr or longer cooldown for the person that died if it triggers? In this time he wouldn't be able to receive another death ward. A once in a while second chance. It's a spell that avoids PD's purpose so it doesn't sound unfair to give it a long cooldown.

the 12/24 hour thing, if implemented, should be a PD server only thing. Reg doesn't matter and it's EXTREMELY useful when you're in a party going ape shit on some mobs and someone dies.

As far as it avoiding PD's purpose, i don't see it that way because 99.9% of the time, you're solo'ing and alone. You already can't cast it onto yourself. I honestly don't see it as an issue across the board. I mean, if PD was like Reg where people were on all the time and more than 3 or 4 people most of the time, i could see this being used as a "get around" to PD, but it's not like that.

Yeah the idea was for such a change to take place only in the PD server. I forgot you can't cast it on yourself (long since I used necro), and I agree it isn't a very big deal since there isn't a lot of people on PD.

if you want a new image host try imgur
it also can physically resize pics as it hosts them I think


Cool. Auto is even better as i bet it keeps ratio. I have a imgur account but clunky on my ancient iphone. I know a few others. Most are pay but they are better than photobucket (i guess... Never saw pb used by a paying customer of top er only tier).

Should add a vendor in the cashe shop where you can buy happy hours for 30 addy coins! Sometimes the overflow sits there and waits to be spent.

yes. if you have a copper added, the copper is on top of the other 10% you already have.

ex.

human fighter with 1000 str hits 100.
drac fighter with 1000 str will hit 110.

human fighter with 1000 str and copper weapon hits 110.
drac fighter with 1000 str and copper weapon will hit 121.

edit: so really, the str doesn't matter, i dunno why i even said that. LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON

I just checked and racial comes AFTER as/def! it comes last

damage = int((bdamage + slay_damage + stat_bonus)*mat_mult) + critical_bonus;
damage then scaled to as & def
then damage *= racial

can you transfer a pet with "custom" spells to a newbie or do the spells have to be "stock"?
