Heikki, I'm not sure if this is kinda what you were after, but there's a script in the package linked to below that calculates theoretical DPS for weapons. However, it doesn't do enchants(yet at least). I love it exits but not sure how it counts damage now.... Maybe it should: Reset when player enters new map and count (damage/"time spend on map"). Also "time spend on map" should stop if player stars to IDLE like second or more. (I bet this will be hard to make.. but would be pro)

* added 'theoretical dps' when looking at weapon on ground, but it doesn't factor in enchants such as vf etc
* gwot no longer random. poly attack speed now based on weapon always
* hexblades are now 90/10 INT/STR stat build
* int based weapons (eg hexblade) give material bonus to spells in same way staffs doint based damage

Does it use character (who looks it) str/dex ratio (as 75/25 for long sword) ?

How is that pay to win? There is hardly a difference between +35 and +36 for example, it only matters to perfectionists. I can finally make a full +36 set without twitching, hurzuhhhh!

I have now leveled from 410-->435 without single wot drop.. And just heard from player that he got his first at lvl 100... so its really rare.
Stat 36 is worst example. Try craft for example bone jewerly of attack +9 set (2 rings and neck) without gwots. It is like 30 wots (Getting those is like playing like 2 character to lvl 500)..... With gwots and one Anathema run for 3x +9 attack items this takes 20-30minutes.
Gwot is great item.... Maybe most wanted item in game for max tinted items. It is nice item and I don't say it should be removed.. but at least everybody should have chance for it?

Okay so... +8 compared to a +9 still not a big difference.
As far as drop rates.. which I think is your point, yes I agree wot rates seem to be pretty low. I've seen one or two in 30 levels. It would be nice to see more drop.

Don't complain about GWOTs, just complete weekly if you want to have 2 gwots as completing it gives 50 addy coins. FOr me it's worth it. I think it's even weird Egg changed it to be nor random anymore. As everyone can use it. I took me a couple of months to get my gear they way I wanted and failed the last 3 gettting boots +36. All while I didn't get a single WOT. So I'm happy Less happy with the random change gone but why not make life easier

The only ultima i am doing is sega master system ultima 4. Finishing up on tilesets (12x12 pixels... Odd). Dungeons are all eagle-eye top view like euo. Some done weird. Its far different than the easy NES ultima 4. Lord Mort did some awsome work on rooms conversion u4 to euo (check bottom forum section). I will next be mapping it out using a prog i bought called GridCartographer (works mostly with gog games but i can make a run with meka. Going to map each square as 11:1 (since combat arenas and rooms are 11x11. Maybe one day i will make a map of all ages of said dungeons in one. Give me a basis for pet peeve projects like if i fully get into NVWN2 or if i get the next up and coming construct set. Eh..

i hate the HOB 15 second cool down. That nerfed necro's to nothing, IMO. Could that be changed to 1HOB at a time? If the spell lasts 3 seconds, you can cast again in 3 seconds. This way you can have at least 1 spell out and you're not standing there or running around waiting for the cool down.

many posts about how cheesy and laggy HoB was so what you expect?
plus as I said before, if HoB was the only good thing about necros then they need something else. hexblades have been improved a lot recently, that's a start.

Now all necromancer weps proc vamp/ven/barbed simultaneously. Was casting/meleeing with an addy krys and getting all 4 effects with HoB and melee attacks.
Still not sure what I think about the HoB cooldown. Agree it needs a nerf/balance though, but have to play a bit more to see if this is too much.
P.S. Dark Ritual doesn't work on artifact scythes/longswords/etc. Perhaps we should have some new hexblade arties?
