aren't they already removed from poly?1[WoWz] wrote:Getting milk and water isn't the cheesy part imo. The cheesy part is polypiling them. If they are removed from polypile, I don't see people cheesing it.eggmceye wrote:yeh milk / water is very cheesy - maybe it should go off

Shouldn't cheesy be milk? I get what you're saying. I did love monster making in town though. Ah good times.
ZUPS!!!!
Re: Ideas thread 2015
Pretty sure you can still polypile milk. I'll check it out later to make sure.eggmceye wrote:aren't they already removed from poly?1[WoWz] wrote:Getting milk and water isn't the cheesy part imo. Maybe +6 AS +5 DEF with a spell enchant? Maybe leach mana?

VOG sucks. AEP/XJ/IJO would make for a better set of gloves LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORON.

Re: Ideas thread 2015
You people do realize that getting a lot of milk/water and polypiling them is a HUGE help to LOTL characters right ?
Getting a lot of the food drops in the game in any quantity is gigantic pain without being able to polypile a large number of milks/waters.
Please give a warning if this is gonna change, as I play LOTL characters on PD.
Milking COWWY or getting well water by the thousands and then poyling them gets us a lot of the hard to find and rare food drops. Raising cooking on LOTL isn't easy without the random things provided by polying.

milk and water haven't been in the poly list for ages
Re: Ideas thread 2015
Yeah but you can drop milk and/or water and polypile it to make other stuff. I think Kracky is worried that will change.eggmceye wrote:milk and water haven't been in the poly list for ages

To me it seems weird that someone would play LOTL for an extra challenge and then proceed to use this cheese LAUGHING OUT LOUD LIKE A MORONKracky wrote:You people do realize that getting a lot of milk/water and polypiling them is a HUGE help to LOTL characters right ?

Re: Ideas thread 2015
Started playing NG, it's different and enjoyable.
The 400% doesn't give rogues much love. Is there a chance of combining locks and traps into one skill, possibly "Security" to free up some class points?

Re: Ideas thread 2015
Playing rogue on NG is pretty difficult. Combining locks and traps into a security skill isn't a bad idea. I ended up getting 100 traps and bashing chests open with a fighter weapon. If your int is high enough, the unlock magery spell is a good choice. Currently anyone can use bonecrafting, so skull keys are easy to get too.Mackey wrote:Started playing NG, it's different and enjoyable.

I've def considered merging locks & traps before ...
but yeh, also bone skull keys makes lockpicking obsolete : maybe another reason to merge them

Would speed up training the skill(s) considerably, too. Even on PD and NG locks and traps takes awhile to GM. On reg I still don't have 100 locks after 10+ years hahaeggmceye wrote:I've def considered merging locks & traps before ...

Re: Ideas thread 2015
Locks and traps take forever to GM. I had a mage buddy cast unlock repeatedly on a door (it unlocks it too) while I unlocked it.

Re: Ideas thread 2015
Is there any other way to train locks? Traps wasn't as bad; Could run around on trapped areas in maps like under mino halls and CoS everytime you run them to gain a few extra skill points.1[WoWz] wrote:Locks and traps take forever to GM. But yeah, either merge skills or raise skill gain for them because damn.
Re: Ideas thread 2015
River's End and Heroic River's End has a bunch of locked doors right at the start of the map.Mackey wrote:Is there any other way to train locks? I used to offer free locks and traps training in MIB guildhall. Yeah, I had a door set that could be unlocked with lock picks and relocked with guild keys. Yep, shift 10 I think for both parties here.
Re: Ideas thread 2015
i like the idea of gaining more skill for actions pertaining to locks n traps n not combining the skills,
like posts above rivers end is a good place n after u hit it just go to heroic n do the doors again,
or there are alot of traps before valor n in valor ,
would not like to see the two skills combined ,
ty
