Map menu you can bring up and mark on. Only shows areas you've been too. Covers the screen when you pop it up.

In game journal for note taking.

Key ring for all them keys. Naturally you can look at your key ring to see what keys are there.

Potion case to hold your pots.

Scroll/map case to hold your maps.

All could function like folders and sub folders in windows. Thus no huge long lists to filter through unless you leave every sub folder open.

Applicable to merchants and containers for the hoarder in you.

I think you can search for them via the acronym. Like IJO for example.

Is it possible to give objects transparency? A possible cheese to make tinted map tiles would be to just have a transparent grey object tile overlay and then tint that. Unfortunately that would tint the whole tile and not just the greyscale bits.

Sharding would suck a lot less if IMJ was a weapon enchant that dropped. Soul Stealers are so damned rare.

I'd +1 this if soul stealer was still more useful than default enchants.

I have some suggestions for pets?
-Maybe make some petlvl cap like playerlvl / X where x is dependent on pet type/race.
-An increase in stats other than just hp when lvl up for pets. (Suggestion, make pet def/AS/INT lower at lvl 1 and they reach default at 5/6lvl cap and a tiny increase from that lvl on till max lvl!
- Make ebony wand of petrification
-Some sort of skill modifier for more versatile gameplay, like a sigil X boost, gives all related skill + 10% damage but def suffers 20% or something
-Make a quest thread, for players with great ideas for quests! Because we (I) want more quests. But use spoiler alert or something so other would have no idea what the quest is about.
EDIT: Make a hp/hunger bar under your own for your pet!

Bloodbolt could be vampyric for the amount the lightning damage it does, also with that, not really including bloodbolt, make VOG weapons scale with level somehow, I have a blackrock thundercracker on pd that is worthless strictly for the fact that bloodbolt is worthless and so is VOG, so much potential clear speed if the enchant on items didnt suck. :-S

- Custom naming necklaces, rings?

- Super mything (dun, bal, etc) having an effect on jewelry?

- Specifics for jewelry? (gold ring, emerald necklace, etc)
-Possible new tints or whatever based on jewel used in necklace.

- More ring slots based on level? (level 400 gets third ring slot, level 500 fourth ring slot, etc)

here's a wild idea that should be vetoed

make Magery fully classless so everyone can use utility spells like light, locate, recall etc: after moving offensive stuff like AEP, summon, invis?, charm,confuse, clone, poly into sorcery

Pro:
Would free up a lot of inventory space and load from utility items.

Con:
Would make a lot of crafting pretty pointless.

Besides, Monk and Priest have a lot of utility spells, too, so I don't really see the point in open-sourcing most of the mage's utility spells.


Alternative idea:
Convert elemental spells (OG, VOG, IFH, etc) and maybe SL/VSL to Magery, move AEP, summon, etc to Sorcery and create two new classes out of one.
Both could be tweaked further, and possiby a couple new spells added.
People who wanted to stay the same could convert to human and dual class Sorc/Mage if you didn't make them mutually exclusive.

dunno about making two sep mage classes though ... good idea in principle however

I think you've done a good job of making magery utility accessable without taking away from the value of imagery itself with buyable items such as recall runes and blueprint craftable items such as the prism. If there's more utility that you think needs to be accessable yo everyone I'd go that route. You don't wanna screw yourself out of addy coin purchases or make magery a useless skill.
