Bring back regs scoreboard :-S if people want to grind their asses off so be it, it let me set goals and was fun to compare yourself to people that stopped playing 5 years ago.

The smithing and tailoring skills suck total ass to raise now, with no benefit when GMed. It may take over a week to get from 70% to 100%, and to make what exactly, a gold long sword +5? Just bringing it up to say please make it either easier to raise (preferable IMHO) or some kind of major benefit if someone wants to sit over a week to get 30% for GM skill.

Just remembered!

I can eat omelettes/foods/etc. like no tomorrow! Even if I am puking from eating them, the bonus still resides. Make it so that if you eat too much, some type of negative effect that people will despise will happen! Currently there is no bad effect to being a pig and only positive side effects from the foods eaten!

Maybe if you eat enough to get sick all positive effects are canceled?

Eh people will still gorge themselves! IMHO gotta make it kinda bad to eat too much... like 3/4 stats (kinda like disease?) until you get better.

Crafting idea!

When obtaining GM crafting, you should be able (with a combination of other crafting GM skills) to make the best stuff in game! Here is a good example:

Say I want a nice longsword!

I take a few different minerals, a couple monster item drops, and some blood sweat and tears to make:

Dopey longsword +6
chance to sleep an enemy

Now please note that this should be completely random BUT it should be slightly based on what ingredients are used!

Or possibly make it so after you make the base longsword (br for example) some enchanter or a tinkerer or even a new skill should be able to augment it RANDOMLY BUT have it slightly based on what ingredients were used!

I just personally think that while artifacts are great DROPS, crafters should be able to make better items (even with 1k fail attempts). I mean crafting ATM is kinda crappy and you can't really make anything cool at all.

A casino. OMG that would be so much fun (maybe kind of hard to code?)

Slots. Cards. Dice. The LOTTERY! Even have the winner of the daily/weekly/whatever lottery posted in global so ppl are like GRATS!

Even have monster races like they have in dragon warrior/dragon quest games. (basically horse races)

Be a nice money sink AND could even give out an addy coin or two for the major jackpot!

Reopen the "half trolls suck the way they are" argument. As it is now, they only cool thing about them is they can have two different enchants at one time. Have them dual wield two handed weapons or create a new race of giants that have increased strength and can dual wield two handed weapons. That'd be legit. :o

Instead of having Golem as a race make it a suit of armor for everyone.
Explanation
Could be if you have a golem (meaning you gm'ed a skill) and have gm taming you could jump in your golem ( think of it as a gundam) and use him as a suit for a set amount of time. It would also have an extremely long cool off.
EUO the only game you can kill a Dragon while butchering his dead brother at the same time.

>10 steps taken in stealth seems a little overkill, especially when hunting in a party; You'd hardly ever get full backstab damage, but 5 steps seems somewhat fair. You're not always going to get your full backstab damage, especially in PvP, but it adds a bit of roleplaying to the idea of backstabs (Think UO: backstab dmg was based on steps taken following your target)(Could also think of "Taking your time, stalking your prey, looking for the sweet spot to jab a knife in.)
Perks

"Cloak and Dagger" skill, or "Teleport mini-backstab"
>100 rage lets you teleport to one tile directly behind target, instant stealth, and your next attack does triple damage (Full backstab damage would get all the mages butthurt because they can't fuck with machetes up close)
>Puts rogues on par with mage AEP, fighter charge, and monk pull

Weapons
"Flintlock" pistol, or "The mini musket"
(With the emergence of dwarves, I'd say explosive-propelled weaponry isn't really a stretch. Those fuckers can build shit)
(Think pirates and it'll fit)
>Fifth Ranged weapon
>Ranged weapon, bullet ammo, (range is 1 tile less than other ranged weapons?)
>Damage slightly higher than Crossbow?

I see people hiding and running around the mob for an hour taking all kinds of steps while hidden and hitting 40k damage. If you're gonna nerf the BS damage, just nerf it, but I wouldn't put something like this in though. :/ Seems excessively cheeseable. :/

Backstab doesnt need nerfed.. With a machete, Maybe a little. But no. Backstab doesnt need nerfed..

Like whom? Seph and Fof? thats 10 times the amount they can do now with a monk or mage to sleep the monster.

* Races to have their own starting areas (Instead of every race starting at nord)

* Secret map for every race that only the race can access (non-races can access with the /invite (party) command only from the correct race)

*scrap the /bind command to a scroll (monster drop), and maybe lvl 30+ required to be able to bind another town.
