Only went with mage as that's just about what almost took me over 2x during win 3 after skills and quests ladder. May just try monk myself. I had a very awesome rogue/priest that month too.

So all the possible bugs so far are-:

Phase-shift doesn't block properly -Eclips-

You can use ports in the arena -HyStErIcAl-

You can seize 2x2 and Sea creatures onto land and mountains -HyStErIcAl-

Iron-fist Master on Newbie island (Possibly because of the XP rate) -Hellslave-

Still had Iron-fist Master spawns even though i hadn't gotten the required level in Sanctity. -HyStErIcAl-

Iron-fist Masters spawn even though there is one already present. First one should De-spawn. -Hellslave-

Pets + Summons follow your astral form .. Not your meditating body, -Keighn-

Pets and Summons could still kill the Master and you would pass. -Keighn-


-Cheeses or just things that own too hard?-


Stone-form should have a cool-off..

That defense spell (can't remember what it's called) Needs a cool-off as well. You could just keep that up if you had some mana :P

The aspects cast too often.

Throatstrike might need some more rage burnt.

Sleeping-fist might be a bit to much of a knockout

prob make them live on pd & ng as soon as all the probs are fixed

making them live on reg after the tourney, so mid Aug approx


the only big change I'm planning atm is to scrap aspect of the snake, and convert ironhide into 'aspect of the turtle' which would make it a weak tank stance maybe

finally a monks update!

-- scrapped ironhide
-- added aspect of the turtle (same effect as ironhide) - lvl 10 ability
-- astral travel is now lvl 8
-- fixed drakeform+levitate probs
-- when gm arrives have summon sound
-- levitate into town
-- no gm ironfist on newbie is
-- can no seize large
-- gm ironfist decay timer
-- gm shouldnt fight and not move
-- phase shift requires unarmoured gear
-- fixed phase shift
-- make dojo arena
-- spawn astral body on same spot, removed the <h>
-- added 20 sec stoneform cooloff (including the 10 secs that stoneform is active)

You can sieze monsters onto forcefields, chests, and locked doors.

I, too, am having a lot of fun with monks.

Okay so i have 97 unarmed and when i kill a boss the IGM appears, but he won't train me?????
Actually he offers but nothing i say triggers the tele to the dojo.... :?

Thanks for making my idea better, Keighn. If need be, I could come up with even more (had a few ideas drawn down).

Also, for some reason I couldn't get a monk started on the beta server (I am a sucky noob :\), so I can't wait for them to come to the reg!

Question: Will they be available on the other 2 servers?

Suggest you put a limit on the number of times the ironfist master can heal himself. When ever I got close to wearing him down you would meditate with stone form and regenerate.

Now I'm not sure if I've missed something but I logged on the beta to test this monk stuff out and basically every time I try to move my fps goes from 33-34 to 1-4 fps. So basically it took me around literally a time of around 5-7 mins to get to the first rat and kill it. This doesn't happen on reg and it's basically impossible for my computer to run euo that. So like I said. I may have missed something. If I haven't, then maybe somebody else could check it out and see if they're getting the same problem.
