+AS items are capped at effectively +9
wonder how many +10+ AS items there are?

edit: I poked around and found the following:
seph's blackrock rondel +30 ! *
CinD's vamp ls +39 ! *

broden's diamond bastard sword +10 &

a guy called greith who hasn't logged since 2010 has a vamp LS+15 ^
wahooka has his 'ugly stick' unique arty which is +10 staff $
akyla's Oops - vamp clay +22 $

lmk if any others
conclusions
* these items are obviously bugged leftovers from the item wear saga
& broden's was a prez from me I think in like 2003 - prob the last I ever gave out
^ the vamp LS+15 sounds like one of the other dm's prizes
$ these ancient players' named items are unique - probably from magic merch

For short time it was possible to legit find +10 weapon in phase monsters chest (or boss). I've found myself one on PD around year 2009 I think (don't have it anymore, wasted it on transfer wand).
It's always funny until someone gets hurt. Then it's just hilarious.

When the high plus weapons were obtainable rondels werent in game yet. I made that out of I think a LS+39 or something, then I disenchanted it to a level I could use it. Then like a week later Emo was pointing out people having them on the armory, but it was just an armory bug. Thats when they all got the +9 treatment.

Bandwagon battlegrounds server. :rebel:
PD with character deletion every time you log out. Everyone is level 1000 with a free respec and every skill maxed out. No starting weapons spells or items. Players who login are trapped in NordHaven with PVP turned off, until a certain number of players, possibly five or 10, log into that server, then all the players are randomly teleported over the world map and PVP is turned on.
Mobs drop better gear along with spells and prepared food?
Wonder if there is a way to get damage over time similar to sunlight on a shrinking area similar to most battleground games fog or storm?
Could be an event coordinated through the forums for once a week or once a month?
Winner gets addy coins or avatar certificate?

Some other ideas:

after demon isnt the highest lvl pet anymore it felt nerfed (was the only pet that gets to lvl 75) maybe let it eveolve to fire or ice demon at lvl 75.

bloodbolt special pet tome from minotaur chief.

banish scroll made from 85% inscription + blank scroll and silver fillings ( so a bit more troublesome than the spell from divinity).

Add an option to stop water/lava tiles from moving. I've come to find the lava/water lags me worse than HOB does.

Aren't there 4 tiles for each of those? Just copy paste 1st tile of set to the latter 2. You could try that for every mob. I might test it. And it might not help... Dunno

Probably wouldn't help lag. The tile would still be changing technically.

I did some quick checks and found no real difference in fps (when fps limiter off) ... but it will drop whenever any tiles need to be drawn darker, which is often in an area like lava which is underground, thus dark, and around the fringes of the area will be a lot of darkened tiles

but I made a map of just lava and tested fps there, and in middle of ocean, and no real fps difference. the actual animation I swear would add no cpu time, but it's very much the darkened tiles around the lava

Would using old lighting help any?

yes definitely as it does not use the darkening code which is slow

Is there any chance your computer is contributing to the lag? Might be worth trying a game booster for shits and giggles
