Its either dirtyking or Brandon, both of them spent a lot of time hunting for items after hitting 450.

Yeah I checked Dk on alpha months ago and he was 550+ , wouldn't surprise me if it were him

I guess I could give people the choice of keeping the xp or moving it to another char as dudle suggested.

Honestly, As long as i can level more then 450, I dont care how it's done. I would like the exp i have already to go to something, And i rather it be Flames, But if its gonna at least go somewhere, I personally dont care. I just want to level Flames more. Truth be told, I rather it be higher then 500 too.

Egg, I know you're testing with a fighter. That is the best kind of character for the new map. Consider testing with my character (a level 400 rogue/priest with incredible gear), or a mage or even a monk. Fighters can fight anywhere and what they trade off is slow killing.

I honestly think the only ones that can solo the majority of the new creatures are fighters (and they will be fighting slowly).

made some updates based on feedback:

- put glass mobs as/def down a bit
- put their loot up to blood mage quality
- improved loot of the reapers
- otherwise they are ok ... modelled on blood mage/fighter
- lava prophets start with either claymore, 2h axe or scythe (no more disarm)

- toned down the new mobs in mino halls by abt 10%
- dragons, and other non updated mobs etc are now epic (not BRUTAL 10x)
- void balron is now heroic balron, not epic
- re-enabled the pit

Good changes for PD players, those dragons were.... brutal.

I've toned down the stats on the reapers on the new continent a bit more. I may yet tone down the glass dragon+imps.

BTW cap on reg is now 500. See appropriate thread. If you want to move your excess xp email me or post in the other thread.

Check out my 'wizard's tower' reboot ...

Using morty's map copy/paste mod I merged the 8 separate levels of 'wizards' tower' into one map. Having done that, I then went and rehashed it into 'phoenix tower' which can be found in Apoc New Sosaria.

Now when I say rehashed, it was rehashed by lovingly hand. I've always liked that map and like the path that leads thru it. So I retinted it all and respawned it all and worked on the pathway. It's basically blood mob difficulty level which is what the entire Apoc New Sos (at least the bits I've made) is meant to be.

Hopefully it should simultaneously feel like the old map and a new one.
