Vampire in daylight debuff ideas
-50 health
double damage
slower walk speed (due to pain)
Random Confusion
Random AEP (falls over from pain) Gnomes would still get their aep bonus
Random Sleep (passes out from pain)
Possibly a vampire skill that you can train to withstand sunlight for x amount of time the most you could would be half of the daylight. This way you could still keep the constant damage. Or even take the constant damage out add this skill and add a few of the debufs above.
Just a few other idea's I have thought of instead of the constant damage.

Just wondering, does the bat polymorph spell work in dungeons and all indoor/outdoor maps in addition to continental or is it like the draconian racial ability (only on continental maps)?
Either way, I'll try one out on the alpha. It'd be cool if as a bat you fly faster than you can walk, cuz that would make it a great "oh shit! let's run like run" backup plan spell.

Sorry for the double post, but I've tried a bit and have some suggestions:
-Polymorph as a bat in inside maps / dungeons only fly at a much slower speed than if you were on a continent map.
-Garlic & garlic based foods caus harm and will not fill stomach though buffs can still happen (yes, I'm nit picking my vamp lore. sorry).
-someone said this before, but a secret cave/cliffside encampment of vampires that once you are a vampire you are able to teleport to it right away as though it were an extra Mark / Recall place. It would have a vamp npc healer and a vamp npc food / drink seller, plus some miscellaneous vamp npcs with "dead end" conversation pieces (or quests if you're crazy and willing enough to make some vamp storyline of exp-milking journies and rewards).
And here's a modified version of Golden Ganandorf's daytime debuff:
During exposure to sunlight:
1 - Receive double damage from melee, ranged, and spells
2 - Only 75% max health (can't heal above it until night time or in shelter, but it will reset to 75% whenever outside at daylight)
3 - Only 75% max mana (same details as above)
4 - 25% or 50% slower walk speed (like he said, from pain and fatigue if my Morrowind memories are correct)
5 - No non-vamp npc wants to talk to you and gaurds will attack you on sight (again, Morrowind inspired)
! - On a side note, just as in Oblivion and I think Morrowind (I've not gotten to play Skyrim yet due to shit pc's and laptops and no console, and I think Daggerfall and Arena did things differently I recall correctly), the sunlight debuffs can be temporarily lifted for 2 minutes via using Vampyric Drain. This'll let vamp players quickly get supplies they want/need and not get murdered by towne guards in the process.
? - Maybe polymorphing into a bat could be safe in daylight cuz you can't do anything atm other than continent travel
EDIT: I just read more carefully and saw that Food + Drink doesn't feed vamps. Edible ingredients are good for cooking food buffs, though.

Golem's seem way overpowered to me, they should have a little less mr or get less hp(i was able to stand a lot while i was atacked by 3 heroic trolls at lvl 29 with bad equipment and got to kill one). Also, if they were to be weaker, they should be able to eat ores or some kind of rocks.

Alpha server is all sorts of messed up right now. You get a NOTHING avatar when you race change. Theres almost no mobs anywhere, and they dont have the right stats and abilities. Its just wigging out over there.

it's running but there is a problem with connecting
and it hasn't had a character update for years - it needs a script to copy all the chars+pets from reg to it automatically once a week

when I did try to connect it was trying to go into port 26665. I didnt see a launcher in the EUO file to go to 26669 either. Im not too worried about the characters being up to date. I will be using plain weapons to get base data. Just don't feel like grinding everything up.
