Screwing around with the idea of 200%

I was sitting around on reg when I was starting to wonder about fighters. Don't get me wrong I think they're grand but I wanted to check something about what they get when they hit 100%. Here's what I found out with a guy that had 245 Strength and 245 Dex using a regular longsword and wearing full platemail (all not tinted and not magical)

100% Fighter
100% Longswords
100% Tactics
-------------------
AS = 36
DEF = 27

100% Fighter
100% Longswords
0% Tactics
-----------------
AS = 29
DEF = 25

100% Fighter
0% Longswords
0% Tactics
---------------
AS = 9
DEF = 25

0% Fighter
0% Longswords
0% Tactics
----------------
AS = 9
DEF = 10

Man the drop is tremendous.

Every 5 weapons skill = 1 AS
Every 20 Fighter % = 1 DEF if wearing heavy armour (maybe any armour)
I don't know about Tactics per so many % but who cares.

So, in theory if a fighter could max out at 200% in those fighter skills he could have the following:

100% Fighter
100% Longswords
200% Tactics
---------------
AS = 43
DEF = 34

100% Fighter
200% Longswords
200% Tactics
---------------
AS = 63
DEF = 34

Fighter in nonmagical Fieldplate&Heavy Armour wielding a plain longsword with 245 STR/245DEX
200% Fighter
200% Longswords
200% Tactics
-------------------
AS = 64
DEF = 49


I wonder how much damage he'd do?

Weird to know, the total def values of solid heavy armour should be 15 DEF. Just goes to show that an inexperienced fighter only has 10 def and can't use his armour worth shit.

Another tid bit.
Non-Remorted Half orc at lvl 1k would have 5522 Strength
Remorted Half orc at lvl 1k would have about 5252.5 str which either rounds up or not.

This is all just a rough guess.

Wait, that can't be right. Dropping a weapon class down from 100 to 0% affects def?

Seems, I messed up on that and wrote 15 in stead of 25. Anyway, that raw % of fighter sure seems to affect use of armour. 15 points?

so what is your hypothesis and what is your conclusion ? - because all I see here is a bunch of numbers

I really don't know what the effect of high AS has as far as extra damage output. I just simpy don't have any alts that can change their AS on a dime unless its using a different weapon.

On a guess, fighter deals out more damage and takes less.

If rouge, then deals out more damage (locks, stealth, traps = N/A)

If mage, then nothing; unless there's suddenly some new spheres for spells.
