Hall Of Fame
I play PD a lot more now-a-days then i do Reg. Which is no problem at all. My main character on PD, at the moment, is my fighter Colt. He's level 716 . And when i look on the scoreboard i see that the top 4 spots are all people that have hit the max level cap, 1000. This leaves 6 spots open for me to be able to get on the scoreboard. I'm 14 levels away from spot 10, as of writing this now .
I have been thinking about it and have been running it by a few other consistent players and the sudden spike in new players on PD, and I was thinking that maybe a Hall Of Fame would be an awesome and beneficial addition to PD . The idea was; have a completely separate scoreboard and label it as a "Hall Of Fame" (or whatever other cheezy-fest name you could think of) and have it strictly for the people that have hit level 1000. And those players are placed in the "Hall Of Fame" scoreboard and are given some sort of title of recognition. Like, lets say a title similar to the ones given to the people at tournaments. I.E. the belts that are given away. And the "Hall Of Fame" could be as large as the people who make the list. Doing this would allow for a constant flow of people on the regular PD scoreboard while at the same time migrating those that have met the max level cap to be moved over to the new "elite" scoreboard.
PROS-
* It would slim down the regular PD scoreboard to just the players under 1k
* It'd produce more of a drive for the people that are not yet 1k
* Builds a competitive feel to the game server which is already built around "Survival"
* Still gives the people that have busted their ass and have no-lifed it, a chance to be recognized and honored.
CONS-
* Absolutely None

Thanks for reading this guys! And I hope to have more players coming over to PD server

Re: Hall Of Fame
Sounds like a good idea to me, and I'm not even drunk! (yet)
Re: Hall Of Fame
Love the idea since it was mine first, but seriously would like to see this implemented into the game so the scoreboard can be cleared up a bit so I can see & compete with others in the mid-high levels on PD!

What would the "retirement" consist of? Having people switch to reg or have them deleted?

Should be either of those and a slap on the ass by egg personally.KoRnAGAIN wrote:eggmceye wrote:yeh that and/or mandatory retirement

Re: Hall Of Fame
I'm gunna delete all you rposts
also retirement would mean moving your lvl 1000 or whatever to reg as a level 300 or whatever the xp equiv is. I used to make ppl pay for this but might do it for free to free up the scoreboard, if I can work out a fast way of doing it (it's kinda annoying process atm)

Re: Hall Of Fame
How would stats work? Isn't PD 5 per level while reg being 6? Just curious...
Also, it is alot harder to level up in reg compared to PD. I mean a level 800+ can just whisk through BM quite easily.

You can only delete your post if it's the "LAST" post that had been made. If someone else comments, you can't delete your post, only edit it. It's always been like that. Egg is the only one that that particular rule doesn't apply to.KoRnAGAIN wrote:I tried to! But it won't let me... something's screwing up.Grunkk wrote:Btw you can delete posts

It takes the same amount of kills to get to level 1000 on PD as it does to get to level 333 on Reg. We did that test a while back ago. If and when you get to level 1000 on PD, the xp equivilates to only 333 due to kills, not actual stats or xp.Akyla wrote:How would stats work? Isn't PD 5 per level while reg being 6? Just curious...

Re: Hall Of Fame
This could finally put an end to a bunch of level 1k from ganging up with other high levels and clearing large maps in 15 minutes.

Re: Hall Of Fame
Will this include all equips etc.?
I'm personally against it. Reg should stay reg and PD should stay PD.
And whats ftfy mean?

No. No items transfer, just the 333 levels. That's all.Akyla wrote:Will this include all equips etc.?
