Re: Enchanting/Polypiling/Mythicing Guide

Often (for me) there are long periods of time between mythicing items. Each time I've forgotten how it's done, so I have to look it up again. So this time, I took the time to write it down: If you want to make an item mythic/mystic/astral, you have to create the socalled "essence of myth". To do tha...

This is an odd build/guide. Note there is a FAQ in general to ask questions. What's even more odd is it being responded to about 3 years later.
This is an odd comment.

eat blue dragon meat(roasted or charred) to get elec resistance Yeah, that's the main advice. So you hunt down blue dragons while you go, butcher their meat, roast it (using baking dish on stove) and build up a stock of it. When you feel like looting chests, eat some of that roasted blue dragon mea...

Re: Ideas thread 2020

I'd like to see a way to switch off these yellow help-messages every time saying I can bind to the map level I'm entering. Maybe there could be several levels of verbosity of these messages, like "level 1" for "only absolutely essential help messages", "level 5" for "all help messages" and so on; in...

Was looking for an avatar of a mighty dark witch (Slytherin-style) (female) with long dark hair. Couldn't find one yet. But would be cool I think, maybe for vampire ladies too, like Lilith for example.
I can't paint at all, but maybe someone else can?!

Hi guys, checking the armoury, it seems, not many people are playing EUO these days. At times, even no one's logged in. But: It also seems, people all over the world still really like 2D retro-gaming: I like watching the 8-Bit Guy on Youtube for example. He's partly talking about really weird retro-...

In the down-right corner of the main-screen, the name of the dungeon, you're in, is shown. It would be nice, if it also said " (heroic)", " (epic)" or " (bloody)", if you are in these advanced versions of the dungeon. (Recently someone in the party asked "Is this really 'epic'?", and I wasn't sure, ...

Re: Necromancers ARE LIVE!

Just tried out a necromancer. I liked it so far. Here's one thing that occured to me: In general, when clones and summonings get the kill, the caster doesn't get xp. Neither does he complete a quest, when he doesn't get the kill in person. Maybe that should be different for necromancers, as walking ...

Re: Taming Guide

Very sad that you got rid of the fire dragon. Some people have tried 20 times to get a fire before finally getting one. Maybe I didn't really know what I had. Before I dropped it, I compared the stats though. Fire dragon and black dragon seem to have the same stats including casting speed, except t...

Re: Taming Guide

I don't have any idea what golden dragon you're talking about. Fire dragons are the best imo, fire resist is helpful for them. Well, fire dragons look kind of golden, don't they. ;) So what I meant, was fire dragon. ("Golden" is a common colour for dragons in mythology or fantasy. "Smaug" in "The H...

Alright, I was rather lucky and got my black dragon today (by leveling drake to 25). I hope, it doesn't transform into anything else at level 50. Thanks for answering.

Re: Taming Guide

I got a question about dragon-evolution. The manual says: Some creatures will 'grow up' (similar to Pokemon evolution) at level 25 and possibly again at level 50. The best example of this is the drake to dragon 'evolution'! You can't tame a dragon; only a drake, and then you have to go level your dr...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes

Additionaly, here's the config-file with the settings, I find useful at the moment. The file has to be in the EUO-directory ("C:\...\euo") and has to be called "config_Yourcharactername.lua", where "Yourcharactername" is the name of your character, obviously, so for me the file is called "config_Cel...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes

In the default auxbox.lua-file, there was also some useful damage-per-second-code by LordMortiferus. As far as I can see, he didn't put it into the "framework"-format yet. So I took an approach with his code. The file should be called "LM_dps.lua" (if Mort agrees, that his "LM_"-prefix is used): che...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes

yea bro, no framework here I was just copy-pasting individual code blocks. I stopped when you started making your code generator as I had no clue how to post/break that down So if I get you correctly, you'd like to have the code in a format that fits to this , right? Not much of a problem, I just t...

Re: Completed Auxbox Codes

Just wanted to point at my version of auxbox.lua . Unfortunately I didn't know about your framework (if that's the correct word for it), I just looked into the .lua-file that comes with the client one day and thought, well, that looks ugly. I also wanted to understand what was going on there, so I l...
