Good luck with this. I tried to present this exact logic a year or two agoSeverian wrote:anyway, the focus here should have been on fighters, but everyone some people just decided that nerfing other classes would help balance fighters. The problem with this is that nerfing will almost always upset people.

Re: The fighter class - What are your opinions
Ok, I’m probably going to get some flak for this but here it goes... It is my belief that you all are over thinking the issue. Fighters need to become the best class in the game. By this, I mean fighters should be a class that is simple and fun to play without much effort or research. Something new ...

Re: Ideas thread 2012
@Akyla, DrRude, eggmceye. Honestly, it would be simple to implement this without any backlash by giving the players a choice. Pop in a mage school somewhere with NPC’s that allow the player to become specialists. The only way the suggestion of turning spell casting into elemental bending would encou...

Polymorph info request
Unarmed combat use to determine melee attack results for a Wizard while under the influence of the Polymorph spell. Since the unarmed skill was defined for Monks, does anyone know what skill replaced it for determining melee attacks while in dragon form?

Fighters Allow fighters, who wear heavy armour, to ignore special attacks from creatures. The chance to ignore being equal to the fighter's class % but caps out at 90%. Requirements Fighter Class must be the primary class% Heavy Armour - Duh! Results 1. Fighters are meant to be tanks, not a healing...

Thanks Aerie. Though it kind of sucks for fighters. Besides armor, the freedom of a wide variety of weapon choices is what makes them shine. I guess one just needs to look at it as if they are forced to specialize in a particular weapon type.

Is there an easier way to activate hide for rogues besides using shift + "h" or cap locked "h". Also ... how do the weapon percentages work? I also thought the 75% / 25% meant that 75% of damage was calculated from strength and 25% was taken from dexterity. I overheard conversati...

No offense but after reading all that it seemed to me your just trying to make rogues funnier but less important. That chain of traps owning you is the only reason why anyone bother's with traps. Hell even rogues dont wanna deal with it. Making only one trap per chest just makes traps a useless ski...

Rogue stuff. Tint/materials for lockpicks. Depending on the material, it can increase the rate at which attempts are made, add a bonus to the locks skill, other fun stuff like adding a temporary 3 second bonus to defense and MR (for picking locks while something is attacking you) Remove probes for d...

Gnarled staff?
Just curious if there is any statistical difference between a gnarled vs normal staff? Shana and I did a little testing between two ebony staves with an equal bonus. One normal, the other gnarled. We were unable to determine a difference in casting speed or damage so I was wondering if it was just a...
